The male voice heard near the end of "Turn Back Time" is NOT Rene. It's Soren singing in the background. I think he should get to do the lead vocals for a song on the next album. <Erica Meyers>

In the song "Barbie girl" when it like lene is saying "Im a blond Im a girl in a fantasy world" she is saying "Im a blond bimbo girl in a fantasy world. <dh>

I have the Barbie Girl video on VCD, and the VCD player allows me to make the sound flatter or sharper. I've been playing around with it, and I noticed something - if you played BG with one note sharper, the speaking parts are a bit better, but Lene sounds like a robot! Play it one note flatter, though and Lene sings - with her usual voice! Really! <Tiara>

In "Happy Boys and Girls" some people think they sing, "Try with an eagle". It's really "Try with a giggle." <Erica Meyers>

In the beginning of "Roses are Red" it sounds almost like Lene is saying "wiolets" instead of "violets". <Erica Meyers>

If you speed up "Lollipop (Candyman)" you can make Lene sound either like a squirrel or like she's full of helium, depending on how fast you make it go. <Erica Meyers>

There are similarities in some of the songs. In the first 2 examples, all you have to do is read the writen backwards and it makes another part within the song. These are:

In Roses Are Red:
"Dum Di Da Di DA" and "Ad Id Ad Id Mud"

In Didn't I:
"Di Da Di Da Di Da Di Da Yeah" and "Haey Ad Id Ad Id Ad Id Ad Id"

Here the same lyrics are in two mabee even 3. The letters in capitals are the similarities:

The Singles

I have noticed something VERY weird on the cover to Lollipop Candyman. If you look closely you can see that Claus hair is on fire. It is definatly there. <Aaron>

Live Performances

That whole thing that Soren said about Lene that she is a nice bitch was so true. you know how he says . . . "she's really nice and cares a lot about other people, but then when she's on stage she turns into the other Lene, a bitch, but in the nice way"?

Well at their latest sydney australia concert when we met Lene she was so friendly and kind and we really liked her, and then when she was on stage she talked really tarty and threw water on Soren (but then she went and kissed him to make up, so i guess it's okay), jumped onto rene`, pulled down her pants at the audience (i think she planned this though, as she was wearing undies this time!) and then after the concert when they were sailing a boat on the harbour, she pulled up her shirt, and she wasn't wearing a bra!!!!!!! so everyone saw everything!!!! <jess>
 

During the Smash Hits Poll Winners Party 1997, there were a LOT of Aqua lookalikes dancing to Aqua themselves when they sang 'Barbie Girl'. The Lene & Rene lookalikes are at the front while the Soren & Claus lookalikes were at the back. <Tiara>

Also, at the end, when every other performer is dancing together with Aqua - Aqua was the last band to perform - the ones who seemed to enjoy themselves the most were the Backstreet Boys, the hosts (Ant & Dec) and 911. Spice Girls were hidden somewhere while Republica had NO idea what to do! :) <Tiara>

when aqua came to sydney they had a concert on the Cockleshell and after the concert Lene jumped into the water. <tenky>

During their live performances, Lene and Rene sing over the recorded voices because Lene needs a special machine or somthing to make her voice sqeaky. I noticed it in a MuchMusic special. <Jrm>
 

Miscellaneous

In the Official Megamix Rene says somth strange. When I with my brother played it backwards we heard : I am the Candyman, coming from Bountyland. <Lena>

On Aqua's official website, I saw that Rene has his right eye browl pierced.  The eye browl ring really does look nice on him because it makes him more attractive. <Megan Creech>

IN ALMOST ALL AQUA'S MUSIC VIDEOS SPIKE AND SOREN NEVER HAVE A BIG PART THEY USUALY ARE JUST MENTIONED IN THE OPENING CREDITS! <JORDAN M>

Gwen Stefani is looking like Lene these days. She's got the front of her bangs dyed red. She took the look a step further and also dyed the bottom end of her hair red. You can see this in the music video for the No Doubt song "New". <Erica Meyers>

In every single Aqua song, Rene, Lene, Sorren or Claus's names are never mentioned!!! Rene usually has a nickname, Ken, Candyman, Dr. Jones, ect. very strange. <Jill>

You know that World Cup song, 'Carneval De Paris', performed by Dario G? Well, the one-tone violin beginning sounds EXACTLY like the beginning of Roses Are Red! <Tiara>

I've heard Aqua be compared to Real McCoy sometimes. Here's why for those of you who don't know: Both groups have a female lead singing and a guy who sings some verses which are sometimes rapped, and both groups are from Europe. <Erica Meyers>

Rene's exwife is named Marlene. Then after he divorced he was with Lene. Notice the name similarity. I wonder what his next girlfriend's name will be. <Erica Meyers>

Pearl Jam's "Do the Evolution" music video has something in the beginning of it that looks almost like the Aqua eye. <Erica Meyers>

In the Ace of Base song "Never Gonna Say I'm Sorry", the music during the chorus sounds like the "roses sound" that we hear 3 times during "Roses are Red". (after Rene says "come pick my roses", after the chorus the first time, and when Lene sings "don't take my roses away") <Erica Meyers>
