Comic Synopsis Volume 2

In the palace, Silvermask is asking his soldier madly about whether they have found Arslan. Then he turns toward Saam's room. Silvermask tells Saam that Osiris was killed by Androgoras but Saam doesn't believe Silvermask's story, because he thinks that Prince Hilmes died in a fire accident 16 years ago. Silvermask takes off his mask to show Saam his scar, and leaves Saam who is now astonished.

Arslan and his friends have arrived at Hodier's Cashan Castle. Arslan talks to Narsus about releasing the slaves. They live in Cashan Castle this night without knowing Holdier is actually a traitor. Fortunately, Elam had already got the information before Hodier takes any action. Holdier is killed by Darun in the fight. Arslan eagerly runs to the basement to release the slaves but the slaves attack Arslan instead of thanking him. They leave Cashan Castle and go back to their journey toward the east-- Kishuwade's Pershwa Castle.

The shocking murder happens in a small town- People are killed by "a hand carrying a sword" from the ground. People become panic and think the brutal slaughter was done by the evil power.

In the palace, the high priest, Boden, is exaggerating about the danger of the heathens. Giscal is listening to his blablabla but has other ideas in his mind. Prince Hilmes is thinking about his past-- how Androgoras assassinated his father, Osiris, and the well-planed fire which destroyed his right-side face.

Hilmes goes to Saam again and asks him what he decides to do. Saam kneels down to Hilmes and declares loyalty to him. Meanwhile,Zendy, Karlan's son, is sent to hunt Arslan, Darun and Narsus.

At night, Arslan and friends are surrounded by Zendy's army while they move quickly toward Pershwa Castle. Thus Narsus suggests them to flee seperately then later meet together in Pershwa Castle. Darun faces Zendy but based on the number of the enemies, Darun doesn't fight long but flees.

The morning comes, Narsus rides in the valley alone, and "luckly" meets Silvermask, who is busy fighting with a girl.(He sure knows how to pick on a fight, doesn't he?) The girl's name is Alfreed, who wants to revange on Silvermask of killing her father. Narsus saves Alfreed and Silvermask is knocked down by the sudden falling stone.(How unfortunate...) When Narsus and Alfreed go back to the village, they see dead villagers all over the place. Suddenly, an arm with a sword thrusts from the ground. Narsus realizes that it's "underground skill", an evil ninja skill that the person can use sword freely under the earth to kill people on the ground. Narsus spills the oil on the ground and fires it, thus a person jumps out then Narsus chops the person's head off. Alfreed is surprised by Narsus' bravery and intelligence, so she declares her love to him, which scars his head off. Arslan, Gieve, Elam meet Darun and Farangese on the road. Narsus and Alfreed bump into Silvermask's army again. Narsus calls Silvermask "Pince Hilmes" and surely startles him. Nasus then knocks down Hilmes and meets Darun and friends. Zendy again keeps chasing Arslan, but general Kishwade comes to help.

In the evening, Arslan and friends live in Pershwa Castle. Kishwade's friend, old general Boffman is somehow in a bad mood. When he's watching stars on the balcony, Silvermask appears sneakly behind him. He takes off his mask to show his identity and tells Boffman that he is actually the real crowned prince. Boffman is bothered very much becuase he doesn't want to see mutual slaughter in Parsian royal family.

Arslan comes out to the balcony and finds Silvermask there. Arslan gasps as Silvermask draws the sword toward him. Darun and Kishwade come and are ready to fight for Arslan. Boffman runs out to stop them by shouting that Silvermask is the "real blood" (real crowned prince) of Pars. Silvermask jumps off from the wall when they are too surprised to fight. Arslan hears what Boffman says and becomes sorrowful, then walks out silently.
