In the Pershwa Castle, Kishwade, Darun, Arslan and Narsus have a meeting which is about Sindurian army keeps harassing Pasian border. This time Sindurians come again with 50 thousand army who is led by Prince Rachendera. The king of Sindura is ill, but 2 half-brothers, prince Rachendera and prince Kadiway are fighting against each other for the throne.
Rachendera leads his army to attack Pershwa Castle at night, but is captured by Narsus and is brought in front of Arslan to be forced to make an agreement, which conludes that Parsian and Sindurian become allies, so Arslan will help Rachendera to defeat Kadiway. However, Rachendera claims that he wants to go separately and meets with Arslan in the capital. He also instructs a Sindurian, Caswent, to be the pioneer of Parsian army.
However, Narsus and Darun get suspecious about this Sindurian pioneer, and think that Rachendera sends them a dangerous person on purpose. Therefore, Narsus tells Gieve a plan and sends him to Sindurian northern fortress, Gukarate Catle. The army in this fortress is held by prince Kadiway's loyal general.
Gieve stays in the catle as a guest. He overhears that Caswent tells Sindurian how to attack Parsian army. Of course, Caswent is captured by Gieve, but Arslan releases him. When Caswent goes back to prince Kadiway, he is blamed severly and almost killed, because Kadiway doesn't believe him anymore.
Kadiway's army is ready to fight against Rachendera's soldiers. Under Parsian army's help, Rachendera's army easily defeats Kadiway's. Kadiway flees back to the capital of Sindura. Just at the same time, the Sindurian king wakes up from the coma, Kadiway thus scolds Rachendera before his king father, but the king thinks that it is only fair to let Rachendera explains himself rather than just trusting whatever Kadiway says. Rachendera is called back to his father right away. Two brothers condemn each other harshly before the king, so the king thinks the only way to decide who's going to be the heir is to have a duel. However, the king doesn't want them to kill each other, so he tells them that they can each find a substitute person to go for the duel if they want to.
Rachendera goes back to Arslan and asks Darun to take the duel. He "begs" Arslan to order Darun and Arslan promises. Kadiway is angry when he hears the news about Darun will enter the arena. So he finds a monster-like giant to be the substitute person.
In the arena, Darun wins the duel after a violent fight. However, Kadiway kills the prime minister of Sindura and threatens the king to give him the throne. Rachendera's army and Kadiway's army thus get into a severe fight. Arslan avoids to involve into the fight but Kadiway throws the spear to him. General Boffman jumps out to block the spear and dies. The eagle, Death Reporting Angel, appears and attacks Kadiway.
After the rebellion, Sindurian king becomes very sick and dies in a few days. Kadiway is executed. Rachendera becomes the new king. Arslan and friends prepare to go back to Pershwa Castle. Rachendera lends Arslan 3000 soldiers. However, Rachendera plans to use these 3000 soldiers to commit arson in Arslan's army camp and then attack Parsian soldiers. The scheme is found out and Rachendera becomes Arslan's hostage again. Narsus makes him to sign the peace treaty and releases him. While Arslan goes back to Pershwa Castle, Caswent is waiting on the road. He wants to join Arslan since he has no where to go. Arslan agrees and goes back to Pershwa with his loyal friends.
