Well, my computer is finally behaving. After tinkering with reinstallation, formatting, scandisking, and finally re-daisy chaining my hard drives, it seems to be ok now. I added a new ring on the ring page. Hmmmm... Crunch time! I've been living on Coke and Cup Noodles... Probably not too healthy.

10-24-97:

ARRRGGGGGHHHHHHH!! My stupid computer's crashed for the fourth time since September!! I was trying to fix it yesterday with a friend of mine, but things have gone from bad to worse. Now it's got a boot sector virus that will not allow me to format the hard drive or re-install the operating system. Unfortunately, a lot of my files are on of the one of the two hard drives in the computer. Tasuketekureeeeee!

I've finally got my computer in my dorm, but now the blasted machine is on the brink again. Can't even boot it up. Well, anyway, I was able to update a link, add a link, and do some minor structural updates using a school computer.

8-30-97/9-1-97:

I'm back in school now, and classes should start next Wed. Updated a few facts on the Misc page, plus, added a link to Links Page. I wanna work more on the upgrading stuff, but my computer with all my files isn't here yet. Chikushooo!

8-1-97:

Added new html tag to pages, now the menu bar shouldn't look weird under MS Internet Explorer. Added more detail to some of the DBZ products on Misc Page.

Posted a tweaked banner on main page. I think it should appear more quickly when being loaded.

I'm back! Yes, I survived the Expo, barely. Wow, it was something! I'm thoroughly enlightened now, albeit broke. Yup, I have no money right now. Well, I'll try to get up a review of the Expo sometime soon.

Happy Fourth of July weekend! I hope y'all have a cool holiday. Fireworks! BBQs! Happy 221st, America! Well, tomorrow I'll be heading south to LA to attend the Anime Expo. I'm all psyched up! Waku waku! I hope to see fellow DB fans, pick up DB stuff, and learn more about other anime and manga. I just sure hope that I don't deplete my meager bank account. Dewa mata.

Yesterday, the Supreme Court ruled 7-2 that the Communications Decency Act (CDA) signed by Congress in 1996 is unconstitutional. Justice John Paul Stevens declared, "We have repeatedly recognized the governmental interest in protecting children from harmful materials. But that interest does not justify an unnecessarily broad suppression of speech addressed to adults. (NYT, June 27, 1997)" The main vulnerability of the CDA was its vague definition of "indecency." The clause against obscenity, which was part of the CDA, was left intact.

Yes!!!!! I've finally found a solution to display the side bar without using the "bgcolor" tag that Netscape 2.0 and under browsers don't recognize! The black side bars with the menus should now be visible to greater audience now. Also uploaded two picts.

Completed putting in the menu bars in all of the linked pages. However, I have realized that Netscape Navigator 2.02 doesn't recognize the "bgcolor" HTML tag for tables. Therefore, such Navigator browsers will not see the menu bar as being black, although the links in the menu will be accessible. For example, there is supposed to be a black bar to the right of this paragraph. I know that Netscape 3.0 and Explorer 2.0 recognizes the tag. I am trying to find a non-frames solution to the problem.

6-10-97:

I am having my computer overhauled, so the Daizenshuu translation will be delayed somewhat. I should be getting it back on Thursday or Friday.
