Alan shows up after the Scouts' final battle with Queen Beryl. He is one of the keepers of the Doom Tree, along with Ann, and seeks energy from the Earth to keep the Tree alive. Without the Doom Tree, Alan and Ann will perish from the lack of energy. He is posing as a student at Serena's school, with Ann posing as his sister. Alan also develops a crush on Serena, making Ann very jealous.
