Bubbles break the surface of the pool. Akira appears with Tsukasa in his arms.

Akira: "Hey! Are you all right!? Looks like you took in a lot of water... Don't hold it in, just let it out. Wait, before that, take a deep breath."

Tsukasa, coughing: {My head's going to explode! There's something whirling inside me. I feel dizzy... sick...}

Akira grabs her arms: "Take a deep breath!!"

She looks up at him: {Who.. is this person?}

Akira: {...She's cute...}

Tsukasa notices her vision getting hazy: {W... What...? My eyes...} She passes out.

Akira, panicking: "Hey!" {There's an infirmary here right?}

Tsukasa, unconscious: {This... scent... I remember this scent... A scent that relaxes me... Isn't this..... Dad...?} She remembers herself as a younger child being held in her father's arms.

At one of the water attractions.

There's one called Shark's Play, where you get to drive a little fish-shaped submarine. You have to get through an underwater maze without getting "eaten" by a shark.

Asago: "...Ryuji..."

Ryuji: "N?"

Asago: "Aren't you having fun?" They just got eaten by a shark.

Ryuji: "....."

Asago: "Ryuji, you're al--ways expressionless."

Ryuji: "Well you're always frowning."

Asago: "We're better off practising shooting than this. We live in a different world from the people who are here having fun at a place like this. Ryuji, when we get out of this, let's go straight home."

Ryuji: "-----..."

At the exit to the attraction, Kamo-san is surprised that they didn't come out of the winner's exit.

Ryuji: "We were eaten by a shark."

Kamo-san: "...Oh... What attraction will you go to next?"

Ryuji: "...Find Tsukasa."

Kamo-san: "Hai?"

Asago: "!"

Ryuji: "...We're going home."

Asago, looking displeased: "....." {...Just leave him... Ryuji you baka...}

In the medical room, Tsukasa comes to.

Tsukasa: {I just had a dream about Dad...} She rolls over. {My head hurts~~~. Have I slept too much dammit? What day is it today anyways...?} She glances out the window and freezes. {W... WHAT THE HELL IS THAT!!?} From the medical room, she has a view of the whole park which has several pools, a zillion water slides and other water attractions. [In case you haven't noticed, Tsukasa is back to her usual self, talking in "guy" language.]

She gets up all of the sudden in panic. {Aaahhh!!? What is this place?}

Doctor (female): "You're awake? How do you feel?"

Tsukasa grabs the doctor by the arms: " " But it seems like she lost her voice.

Doctor: "...E? You don't know why you're here!?" Tsukasa nods, holding a piece of paper stating that she didn't know why she was there.

Doctor, turning away: {Is there such thing as losing your memory from a water accident...?}

Tsukasa: {...Why am I here..? And dressed like this!? Did I actually want to dress like this...?} She suddenly feels self conscious in a bikini.

She writes down her next question. 'What is this place?'

Doctor: "New Heaven Tokio."

Tsukasa, looking suspicious: {New Heaven Tokio...? I think I've heard about it. A recently made resort on the island closest to heaven or something or the other.} She's sitting on the edge of the bed looking seriously confused and holding her head in her arms. {The island closest to heaven!? How the hell did I get here!!? Wait a minute! Wasn't I on the brink of death in Kuryugumi's personal hospital!?} Her shoulder is bandaged. {Why am I here!!?} She stops thinking for a second. {I know!!! It's all a dream. This, and that... it's all a dream.} Tsukasa is pictured dancing and going crazy.

Doctor: "Aah! I understand why you're panicking but calm down----"

The door to the room opens.

Voice: "Excuse me doctor, has she come to?"

Tsukasa is now sitting on the floor, shaking her head: {It's not working. I'm not waking up~~~}

Doctor: "Oh. He's the one who saved you. Do you remember him?"

Akira: "...What's wrong?"

Doctor: "Well..."

Tsukasa: {That voice...!!} She turns.

The lady cop is with him too: {She's quite cute.}

Akira starts, as he sees her overlapped with her guy form. {Huh?}

Tsukasa: {It's Akira-san---!!!} She jumps up and gives him a fierce hug. {Yeah! There's someone I know here!!}

Akira, blushing red in the face: "Waaaaah~~~!!!"

Doctor: "Thank goodness. It looks like she remembered you!!"

Akira, still red in the face, with Tsukasa still clinging to him: "...E? What are you talking about!?"

The doctor explains.

Akira: "She lost her memory!?"

Doctor: "She doesn't seem to know why she's here but it looks like she remembers you."

Akira: "No way!" Turning to Tsukasa. "Hey! Didn't I just meet you today for the first time!? Aren't you mistaking me for someone else?" Tsukasa shakes her head furiously, still clinging to his arm.

The lady cop: "Are you sure you've never met her?"

Akira: "...No, I've never..." He suddenly recalls seeing her at the auction for living art. He looks down at Tsukasa, and she looks back at him. "...met... her."

Doctor: "...Oh my..."

Akira: "...You, what's your name?"

Tsukasa starts panicking: {...What should I do... Should I tell him the truth... That I'm Kozuki Tsukasa... But if I do that, he'll know that I'm a girl... and I'll break my promise with Mom and Dad...} She looks down away from his eyes. Akira suddenly recalls that Tsukasa was fighting to get her bag back from some guy, and they leave to go retrieve it.

Akira: "When you fell into the pool, your bag fell in too. I was so focused on saving you that I forgot all about it. Maybe I'm not meant to be a cop after all..." He laughs nervously. "Lately my one and only merit is going down the drain too..." {I guess it is time to resign.....}

Tsukasa: {Merit? Is he talking about the fact that he can recognize people after meeting them for the first time?} She recalls Toshi and Sho saying that they saw Akira shortly after the auction was busted. Akira had asked if he had met them before but they had denied it, since they were dressed up for work. She notices Akira looking glum. She suddenly pats (pounds) him on the back.

Akira: "...E...?"

Tsukasa smiles at him: {Don't worry about it.}

Akira: {Ah! Again... Tsukasa...!?} He rubs his eyes. {That's impossible!}

Tsukasa, giving him a surprised look: "?"

Akira: "Sorry, sorry. Just that your expression kind of looks like this person I know. He helped me on this case, but we parted in a strange way."

Tsukasa, blanching: {...He's talking about me. I'm sorry for making you worry Akira-san~~~}

Akira, thinking to himself: {Yeah, where is Tsukasa anyway. If he's okay, the least he could do is let me know... Wait a minute... I guess that wouldn't be normal... He's a junior high student, and on top of that, a boy!! Wait a minute! That shouldn't matter, I'm just worried as a cop!!} His face is going through numerous expressions as he glances at her. {...But if... Tsukasa was a girl like this.....} He stops. {...Then what!? And with a junior high student!?} Akira kind turns into a human pretzel (honey cruller? - this is a Canadian thing ð the honey cruller is a type of donut available at a venerable Canadian Institution - Tim Horton's Donuts) and starts rolling around, and shaking his head madly in denial.

A little while later.

Akira: "Here you go." He brings back her bag. "Maybe there's something in here that will help identify you."

Tsukasa grabs her bag and runs away. {That the hell did I bring to a place like this!?} She drops the bag down.

Click.

Tsukasa: {...Click...?} She unzips the bag, and stares in disbelief.

Akira and the lady cop come to look over her shoulder.

There's a mechanical device with a countdown.

Akira and the lady cop [I wish the author would give her a name.]: "E...?"

Suddenly there's an explosion in the distance, and it echoes over the whole resort.

Back at Shark's Play.

Asago: "What?"

Bun-san: "Sandaime! The bridge!!"

The only bridge to the resort is now gone.

Lady cop: "...Wait a second... This is a chain reaction type bomb..."

Tsukasa: "!?"

Lady cop: "That's right! It's the same type that've been used in the recent terrorist bombings!!"

Tsukasa: {...Bomb!? Terrorists!? ...What...? Why...? Why did I have something like that...!? Could it be...}

Lady cop: "...My god... If it's like the last one... then hundreds of people will die!!!"

Tsukasa gets up all of the sudden, blanching.

Akira: "Wait a minute, it doesn't mean that you're the terrorist bomber."

Tsukasa, her mouth moving but no sound coming out: {...But... it's my bag...}

Akira: " ...Wait... there was a guy trying to get your bag..."

Tsukasa: {!? I don't remember...}

Lady cop: "Stop. ... That means you saw the guy's face right!?"

Akira: "...Aah, just a quick flash."

Lady cop: "He was probably after this." She took out something that looked like a remote control. "It's an operator. After setting the bombs he was probably going to run to some place safe to hit the switch. ...But for some reason the switch was pressed without him knowing it."

Tsukasa thinks back to when the dropped the bag on the ground and hearing a click. She freezes in terror.

Lady cop: "That means that there's a possibility that he's still in the resort!"

The P.A. system starts instructing guests to start moving towards the main exit [although there's no bridge] and not to panic.

Lady cop: "You saw his face right?"

Akira: "W... Wait..."

Lady cop, angrily: "It can't wait!! Look at this!" She thrusts the bomb into his face, and points to the display. "Before this bomb goes off there's 11 more that'll go off!! This place is in Tokyo Bay! If we wait for the police or a rescue team the bombs will go off one at a time!! Are you going to let all these people die!?"

Tsukasa, her heart beating faster. She recalls again dropping the bag on the ground. {---I'm going to kill them... I'm going to kill all of them.} She glances at the other visitors there who are clearly in panic.

Lady cop: "Go find the guy you saw and find out about the bombs!! Wasn't it your merit that you never forgot the face of someone you've met before!!"

Akira: "...I can't!! Lately I've been wrong all the time!! I don't have the confidence of finding him---!!!"

"Aaaahhh!!!"

Akira: "E...?"

Tsukasa, holding her head with tears in her eyes: "No... no... NO!!"

Akira: "You... your voice..."

Tsukasa looks up all of the sudden: "Let's go Akira-san!!!" She grabs his arms.

Akira: {E?}

Tsukasa: "It's all right!! You do remember the faces of those you've only seen once!!"

Akira: {...My name... How....}

Tsukasa: "No matter how a person dresses up, you can see through a disguise!! Believe in yourself!! ...Please... Save everyone..." She whips off her wig revealing her true identity, tears coursing down her face.
