Tsukasa: "Shinji-san©, Mitsugi-san© Good work on cleaning the washrooms©" [Sweet Tsukasa again!? Incidentally, Shigaraki's first name is Mitsugi, and Muko's first name is Shinji.]

Muko and Shigaraki turn to stare at her in disbelief. They and a few other guys are cleaning the washroom. [I'm not exactly sure why they're cleaning such a huge washroom... It's as big as a public washroom.]

Tsukasa, with huge eyes: "Today it's your duty to clean the washrooms right? It's said that those who like cleaning the washrooms become pure in heart and soul©" [I don't have a clue of what she's saying.]

Tsukasa: "How won©der©ful©"

Doors slam and the yelling begins. Tsukasa listens from behind the closed doors.

Muko: "Who was it---!? Who said that he was back to normal!!? He's still a hentai Takagi--!" [Takagi is a last name]

Takagi: "I-I heard it from Mishima!" [Mishima is also a last name]

Mishima: "What? I heard it from Shigaraki!"

Muko: "Shi~~ga~~ra~~ki~~~~!!" Sound effects of fighting.

Shigaraki: "What!? Do you have a problem? I'm not the only one passing on that rumour--!!"

Tsukasa: "......" She then covers her mouth to prevent herself from laughing.

In Kuryugumi's private hospital.

Meiko: "How devious of you to be pretending that you still have multiple personalities."

Tsukasa: "But everyone's so funny! Like they just saw a monster or something~~~"

Tsukasa is having a CAT scan [or something to that extent] performed on her.

Tsukasa: "I can't believe it but was I really like that?"

Meiko: "Yes.. Okay, you're done. All the tests are done."

Tsukasa comes around into the next room.

Meiko: "There's no problems. Looks like there's absolutely nothing to be worried about."

Tsukasa: "Really?"

Meiko: "Really. Give this to Sandaime okay?" {Or I'll get into trouble.} Tsukasa agrees. "You really don't know how you became normal again?"

Tsukasa: "U......m. It's more like I have no recollection of when I was exhibiting a different personality. When I came to, I was on the infirmary bed. Something that I was saved after falling into the pool, I probably took in some water. After that I felt so sick that I thought that I was going to puke my guts out from every orifice in..." [Tsukasa is using typical guy language as usual, something most girls wouldn't do.]

Meiko, covering Tsukasa's mouth: "You should use more decent language."

Tsukasa, looking totally confused: "...Why?"

Meiko: "...You're a girl. And in the spring you're going into Grade 9. Next year you'll be in senior high school."

Tsukasa: "!"

Meiko: "You'll be a teenager. I don't know how you were raised but you shouldn't use words like..."

Tsukasa: "...Oh is that so."

Meiko: "That's right!" Tsukasa: "That's right." [said using male language.]

Meiko: "That's right!" [using female language.]

Tsukasa: "In Grade 9 you'll have more koohai I have to calm down a bit more right!?" [koohai = people younger than you, those who are junior to you; opposite of senpai]

Meiko: "...E"?

Tsukasa: "I have to mature more. Thanks Meiko-sensei. I was to forget such an important thing!!"

Meiko: "I... I wasn't referring to that......"

Tsukasa, turning to go: "Calm and graceful." She starts walking off.

Meiko: "......" {... Is she okay remaining like that...... I wonder what she's going to do when she falls in love with a boy... Even myself, a total stranger is worried about her future... Wait a minute... I don't have time to be worrying about other people...... I have to pass on this information about how she came back to normal.} Meiko thinks for a moment. {Maybe something in the pool water...?}

Somewhere in the halls, Tsukasa is practising a new walk.

Tsukasa: "Calm and graceful, to show an air of dignity." She takes a few steps. She's satisfied. {Now I have a senpai walk that will be admired by the koohai. Now all I have to do is to project an adult-like mood. So that even doing everyday things like sitting will look so adult---...

She enters the room where Ryuji is. He's sitting on the arm of a sofa and smoking. Tsukasa stops and stares. Ryuji sighs.

Tsukasa: "!!"

Ryuji: "...... Hey... What are you doing......"

Tsukasa had tried to sneak up behind him, impersonating an acupuncturist.

Tsukasa, with a costume and even a moustache: "It looks like you were tired so I thought that I'd treat you with my needles so that your stiff shoulder can be cured."

Ryuji: "My shoulders aren't stiff or anything. Stop joking around and give me the report."

Tsukasa, laughing giddily: "If you want to see it make me say 'Please look at this'."

The air crackles with tension as he glares at her.

Tsukasa: "Please look at this." She hands the report to him. He takes it from her and begins flipping through the pages. "......" {...Ryuji... Something's wrong with him lately... Ever since we came back from New Heaven, something hasn't been the same...... I know that he's always tense with the kumiin but it's the first time he's been so tense with me...... ---And... it's also the first time that I've heard high sigh like an adult would......}

In the car.

Tsukasa, looking at Ryuji: {... I wonder if something happened......} "...Ryuji., you......"

Ryuji, glancing over [glaring?]: "......What...?"

Tsukasa, at a loss for words: "In one month we'll be in Grade 9, did you realize that? There was so much going on in the summer that I just realized it now. Time goes by quickly~~~ I bet you think that too right?" She turns to Kamo-san.

Kamo-san: "......True..."

Tsukasa: {...Forget it... If something's up with Ryuji, it probably has to do with the kumi. Not something for me to get involved with---...}

At school.

Asago: "Good morning Ryuji."

Ryuji: "...Aah."

Asago slips her arm under his.

Tsukasa: {Wow, she's plastered onto him again... Ever since New Heaven.. Ryuji isn't the only one who's changed. Asago's now all over him all day now. Well yeah, she always wanted to be by his side, but it wasn't like 'I'm not satisfied unless I'm in physical contact with him....' ...I think...}

Asago: "Ryuji, I hear there's an emergency student meeting this morning. I'm not sure but something about a change in the school rules."

Tsukasa: "CHANGE IN SCHOOL RULES? What's that supposed... Ow!" She looks shocked as she's hit on the head, and falls back. Looks like the blow was delivered by Asago.

Asago: "I wonder what they're going to change now. Probably something about fees or something, this being a private school and everything."

Tsukasa is frantically trying to get either of their attention but both Asago and Ryuji are ignoring her. "Hey."

Ryuji and Asago turn in unison.

Tsukasa: "!!?"

Nobody says anything.

Tsukasa: {...Is this what they call ignoring someone!!? I can see a shield keeping me out...!} [It's like a egg shaped barrier is surrounding Ryuji and Asago.

Asago turns around.

Ryuji: "......"

Tsukasa: {...W... What... What's this......! Why are you leaving me out like this---!!! I understand Asago but why Ryuji too......!!?} She pictures herself crying alone in a blizzard and being covered by snow. {Why do I have to be ignored by Ryuji---!!} Weren't we friends!!? She rolls around in the snow. She stops suddenly as Toshi and Sho are looking worriedly over her.

Toshi/Sho: "We thought you were sick again with some fever and that you were like that strange Tsukasa."

Tsukasa: "It's all right now. The doctor said everything's okay now."

The students are assembling.

Toshi/Sho: "...That really surprised me~~~"

Sho: "Tsukasa, you have to look after yourself better. We are students with jobs and all."

Tsukasa: "Yes, yes, I've thought about it."

Toshi (?): "But thank goodness Rokuo's this kind of school."

Tsukasa: "N?"

Toshi: "Because you're Sandaime's bodyguard. You've missed school sometimes. Can you keep up with lectures?"

Tsukasa, laughing: "I was okay until about summer~~~"

Toshi: "See?"

Tsukasa/Toshi/Sho: "If this were a normal school we would have to worry about exams, but luckily, Rokuo has NO EXAMS---!!" They jump up in happiness.

One of them: "Since there's no exams we don't have to worry about flunking--"

One of them: "So we can easily be promoted to the next grade without doing anything---"

Tsukasa, Toshi and Sho: "Thank goodness there are no exams~~~"

Shige-chan [the principal of the school in case you ve forgotten]: "Yes there are."

Tsukasa, Toshi and Sho: "...EH?"

In the auditorium. Students are lined up in the auditorium to hear the principal s speech. The cry of surprise is echoed.

"Eeeeeehhhhh!!!?"

Shige-chan: "Up until now, Rokuo did not have to issue out exams like other schools to produce superior students. That was because students had the ability to supervise themselves in their work, going over problems until they were completely understood. The reason for Rokuo's prestige is not just because of our wonderful facilities but from that sort of independence given to students. However, it seems that now, there are a number of students who falling below the expected levels."

Tsukasa starts. She's labelled as one such student.

Toshi is labelled as a second such student while Sho is labelled as a third.

Shige-chan: "This is clear at a glance from the number of students using the service rooms for supplementary lessons. Because of the change in the students, the vice principal has suggested a change in the school rules as well. Thus we have decided on having both midterms and finals starting this term!!"

The crowd of students starts murmuring.

"Th.. This term...?"

"This term...?"

"Doesn't that mean...?"

Shige-chan: "They will commence in one week. However, from this part one are the new Rokuo's rules. The maximum attainable mark is 100, and a 70 will be considered a pass." The students are looking increasingly worried. "If there are 5 students with marks below that in 3 of the total of 7 courses, we will have the class repeat the grade."

"WHA~~~~~~T!!?"

Shige-chan, all smiles: "Don't worry. There is no exam fee. All you have to do is pass the next exam. So until the exams begin, work together as a class and good luck."

In the class room.

{I'm going to repeat a grade...} Click, click, click, bee---p!

Tsukasa: {...I'm going to repeat a grade...} Click, click, click, bee---p! {I'm definitely going to fail---!!!} Click, click, click, bee---p! The beeping is from her computer telling her she's made an error.

Tsukasa is crying silently in front of her computer. {I don't understand-- I don't get any of it---}

[By the way, Ryuji still has the seat next to Tsukasa]

Asago, at Ryuji's side: "Father was saying yesterday..."

Ryuji: "......" He glances over at Tsukasa. Asago notices this.

Asago: "...Ryuji!? Are you listening?"

Ryuji, turning back to Asago: "......Aah."

Tsukasa, still crying {It's no use I don't get it!!} She turns to Ryuji to see Asago and Ryuji really close together. "!!!" {H... How could you Ryuji!!! When I, a friend is shedding tears and sweating like this......!! To ignore me like that!} She makes this sound very dramatic by crying. {...Ohhhh~~~ Is that right...... OK...} She's shaking. Then she starts. {Fine. Then I won't rely on you either. I'll get through this problem by myself!!!}

She turns to her classmates, looking cute: "...Ummm~~~ I want to ask you something." Her classmates all scatter. "U... Um... Hey..." They all turn away from her. "......" {I'm being avoided... even by my own classmates...... WHY......!?}

Later that day.

Kamo-san: "Tsukasa-san."

Tsukasa, turns angrily, glaring: "HM!?"

Kamo-san: "... Sorry to keep you waiting. Umm... It seems like you may go home early."

Tsukasa, sitting on the floor: "...... What about Ryuji?"

Kamo-san: "Ha... It seems like... that he's going with Asago-san... on... a date..." His voice trails off.

Tsukasa, still glaring: "......" A vein pops on her head. "...O~~~h, is that right!" {Not that I care or anything!!} She flicks the popped vein off her head. "OK~~~~" {I wasn't going to rely on you anyway!!} She starts walking off in a puff.

Kamo-san: "Ah... Tsukasa-san, this is Sandaime's way of showing consideration. I'm sure that if you have time to be accompanying a date that you would rather study for exams......"

Tsukasa slowly turns.

Kamo-san: "!!!"

Tsukasa: "~~~...O~~~h, is that so." She walks off without another word.

Kamo-san: "......" {...She must be angry...} He sighs. {That was a bit scary. But this can't be helped---...} He watches Tsukasa go.

"It can't be helped." The words echo in Kamo-san's mind. Some time earlier, Ryuji had a talk with Kamo-san, although what was said is not revealed.

Kamo-san: "---..." {---... What were you feeling when you said that---... Sandaime---...}

Outside.

Sound of someone running.

Tsukasa: {What do you mean consideration!? What do you mean studying for exams!! How the heck am I supposed to study something by myself when I don't understand it!! Bakayaro!!} She's on the verge of tears [I think].

Voice: "---Tsukasa?"

Tsukasa stops and turns: "!?"

Akira: "You're finally out." {Thanks to you I've been questioned about whether I'm off duty.} "...Tsukasa...?" {What's wrong?}

Tsukasa, smiling in relief: "---Akira-san...!"
