Obviously I'm yet another Sakura-Syaoran freak, so when I read your little POW
on Sakura I found myself agreeing wholeheartedly. Chacha, on the other hand, is
amusing, but I don't think anybody should take her seriously. Actually, nobody
should take ACC seriously (which is very easy to do).
As for Sakura's being dense about Tomoyo and Syaoran both being madly in love
with her, I'd like to think those are not the only things she's unaware of.
Hell, she's just as dense when it comes to her own feelings! Of course this may
sound like a desperate claim from a die-hard fan wanting to speed up things a
little for the both of them but in recent volumes of the manga she's been really
sweet, doing stuff like sewing a yukata for Syaoran even if it meant losing
sleep and covering her pricked fingers with bandages (causing Syaoran to take
her hands in his and ask, "Is it something you can't tell me?" *swoon swoon*).
What else could lines like "If you are beside me, I will be safe" mean? No
wonder Syaoran's always left staring at her, half in wonder, half in confusion.
That's not the only reason why I say Sakura loves Syaoran but she doesn't
know it. Major proof is in vol. 11 when she fails to change Light and Dark into
Sakura Cards and Syaoran faints after helping her with his last strength. She
cradles him, thinking that if she can't change the cards, it will be the end of
everything, and she won't be able to see Syaoran again. "Sore wa ZETTAI YADA!!"
she thinks. Then from that point on she gathers new strength, changes the
cards, and breaks Eriol's spell. When Syaoran wakes up, she embraces him,
thanking him over and over, saying it was because of him that she was able to do
it.
Oops, sorry for the spoiler.
So I'm hoping she'll come to terms with her own feelings soon. Things are
actually getting deeper for both of them, if Syaoran doing the yubikiri with her
without blushing can be counted as proof. ^_^ Until then let all Sakura-Syaoran
fans write syrupy sweet fanfiction to their hearts' content (atarimae deshou)!
Thanks for reading this.
Arigatou yo, Sakura-san! ^_^
