So you wanna know about the crazy chic that made this site huh?? Hmmm.... U must be really bored then! :p Anyway, here's the 411 on me... I also added some of the freaqently asked questions I get in emails... (yes folks, I'm actually gonna answer them now so just put your reading glasses on and enjoy, and when u start feeling nausiated, just remember, I WARNED U NOT TO READ MY INFO! )
Basic info
My online name is Maru (duhh!!) but most of my irl (real life) friendz call me 'Em. (You can call me maru or 'em.... just don't call me by my 'real' name... ergghh...) I'm from California and I'm 20 now... -geez, i'm soooo old!- (turned 20 on March 16th!). For those of u who's been emailing me to post my picture... I just have one question... WHY?
If u wanna know... what I look like... basically, I'm human. *L* If u wanna get more detailed, I'm asian and part white... but uhm, I'm mostly asian... I have dark brown eyes, and my hair changes colors every two months... depending on what color I feel like dying it. uhm, recently I've dyed it reddish brown with orange highlights....thats a total fluke since my stylist messed up and made my highlights orange.. uhh... but i guess it looks -cute- in its own weird-psycho way. Ahhh... Now are u guyz satisfied? :p heehee.
FAMILY
Lets see.... Basically I have a mom and a dad who are as kewl
as any parents are allowed to get. Oh and I have a pet... I mean, a little brother who is totally awesome,
even though sometimes he is a pain in the neck. (tee-hee sorry bro, gotta be honest.) ...But really
my bro, who goes by countless nicknames, is bomb! Oh...and then there are my
cousins... Man do I have a lot of cousins... I mean seriously, its scary actually... But they're all awesome!
...especially the little ones, namely Mary, Katie, Jonathan, and Jeffy... cuz they're sooo damn adorable
(really they are... kinda sick how adorable and cute they are actually...) oh and the best part is, they
totally adore and look up to little 'ol me... *evil laugh* ...I dunno why they do though... HEY! I know what
you're thinking... NO I DID NOT BRAINWASH THEM! (tee-hee).
Lets see... I have a lot of hobbies and some of them include going out, shopping,
playing volleyball, watching basketball, watching movies, just basically going out and hanging
with my friends.
Usually, (especially during school time) I just chill in my dorm room with my roommate and we watch TV and order in food from EXTREME pizza... cuz well, we're WAAAAAY too lazy to walk up "cardiac hill" to our campus' mess hall and get disgusting college food. But that will all change this coming school year cuz I decided.... well I kinda decided since my parents want me to and everything... to live at home for a year before getting an appartment. YAY! home cooked meals and arguing with my mommy! How fun. (in case u guyz haven't noticed, I was *trying* to be sarcastic) Anyway, college life is busy, busy, busy, so I haven't updated my web site *gomen ne*. However, now that its summer break, I'm definately going to *try* to update. So where was I...? Eetoo ne, Oh yeah if I'm at home or at the dorms, I end up editing this site (if time permits), talking on the
phone, chatting, or talking on the phone and chatting at the same time, while watching tv and listening to my mp3s. (I'm really talented don't u think? tee hee :p) ^_^ Oh and I also like writing short stories, poems, and some of you must have noticed my little fan fic (which I have not worked on in years... gomen kudasai ne! But now that summer is here, I really will try to work on it again. Oh yeah, I also like to draw and edit pics. But like I said, college is a bitch and I have been busy so I haven't done any of the thingz above...

...When I'm not listening to J-pop, I either listen to alternative music, punk, some ska (thanks to my lovely friend JENNNIFER!), and sometimes pop groups... just N SYNC actually... have this thing about NSYNC... Other groups I like are: MXPX, Pennywise, NOFX, Less Than Jake, Goldfinger, Blink 182, Fenix TX, The violent Femmes, The Ataris (Thanks Jen, for introducing me to that group!), The Bruce Lee Band, (thanks again Jen!), Sugar Ray, Red Hot Chilli Peppers,No Doubt, Bush, Oasis, Pearl Jam, Sublime, Fionna apple, Goo goo dolls, radioheads,Cherry poppin' daddy's, Eric Benett (iz that how u spell his name?) Sarah McGlaclahn, The Offspring, Eve 6, KORN, PAPA ROACH, 311, INCUBUS, etc, etc... ohh... And I also Love Billy Holiday, Tony Benett, and Frank Sinatra
My ideal guy: Well I don't really have a specific "ideal guy" but if you went to my SMAP page then you know I'm really nuts about Shingo,...and Takuya ...and of course, there is Ewan McGreggor (from TRAINSPOTTING, EMMA, and STAR WARS episode 1 "THE PHANTOM MENACE" ), James Marsters (aka spike in Buffy the Vampire slayer) Ryan Philippe (Whoohoo! what a cutie.) And MARK HOPPUS & TRAVIS BARKER from Blink 182!... (cutie pies!)

Ok on to my Fave Anime Shows: Fushigi Yuugi, DBZ/GT, Rurouni Kenshin, Kodomo no Omacha SLAM DUNK, Gundam Wing and X. Although I think the Manga's are much better. ^_^
Favorite Manga: AYASHI NO CERES AND FUSHIGI YUUGI! I also like MKR and Rurouni Kenshin... (These are the Mangas I actually have... the otherz that I've read I just borrow from my friend Ken. :p)
Favorite Drama(s): Toumeningen, Ichiban Taisetsu na Hito, Psychometero Eiji, Long Vaccation, Virgin Road, Love Generation, Ii hito, Beach Boys, Rintaro, with love.... and there'z a whole lot of otherz!! ^_^
Favorite Movies: Uhm... tough question. Letz see... Right now, I think Frequency was kewl, THE MATRIX (of course!), Frequency, and I'm totally hooked on Star Wars ~episode 1~ THE PHANTOM MENACE! I also loved Armageddon and I liked TITANIC, Can't Hardly wait, Fools Rush in, Clueless, The Craft, etc. Oh, and I also liked those 80s Molly Ringwald movies like Pretty in Pink, 16 candles, and The Breakfast club.
Pet peeves: Uhm, I have a lot of pet peeves... Really I do, and they tend to get multiplied when I'm
on my monthly... bill But what gets to me most are annoying ass Teeny-Bops! I can't stand those
people... Just thinking about them makes my blood pressure rise... UGHHH! >_<
Thingz I say way too much: "Whatever" "Your Mother!" "Ewww!" "You wish!" "Kiss my ass!" "Huh?" "hmm?" "ee..." "that/this is way....(something)" "WHAT THE HELL?" "Shiieet!" "Freakin' ass" "Fuck off asshole!" (and some other variations of bad words that I can say in English, Japanese, Tagalog, and Spanish...) ehhehheh.. Actually... Late, I haven't been saying too many "bad words" since one of my good friends hates it when I do and well... ^_~
Do I have a life?: Yes! At least I'd like to think so... :p If I didn't have a life... this site would be MUCH nicer, not to mention regularly updated.
Do I chat a lot?: Uhm, nope I used to but I haven't gone to any real chat rooms in 3 and a half years... I do message w/ friendz on icq or aol instant messager when I have time.
Would I seriously consider going on an actual date w/ someone I met online?: That depends, u have to show me two forms of Identification, a DMV record, prove that u aren't some eechi, hentai psycho who getz kicks out of stalking chics in the internet, u must have no prison record, you must be a guy, be decent, and ofcourse have a major credit card, visa and master card iz accepted... but please NO AMERICAN EXPRESS! :p

Favorite toothpaste: Anything that'll clean my teeth iz fine! (What the hell kind of question was that? I know dental hygene is important but sheesh...)
