Sexy Guardian

This comic is a 2 volume series drawn by Shinjo Mayu. She just started her first comic in 1994, so she's quite new in the manga world. Of course, if you did read her the other work -- Bare My Heart, you'll find that her style/ story line is going in shojo -- typical handsome guy & pretty girl. In this sexy guardian, she had yet created another doki-doki guy by the name Shibuki (??).

This story goes as a girl, Saotome Juna was being transferred to a high school which was a boys-only school until last year because the student intake was hardly enough & it's just started to change its policy into a mixed school. The principal of that well-known school was Saotome's relative, so he pleaded Saotome to enter the school.

The male students in the school were harassing Saotome when Shibuki came along to her rescue. Later Saotome went to complain to the principal, & the principal promised her to select a bodyguard, which happens to be Shibuki. Saotome was astonished, but accepted the offer because Shibuki was a heart-breaking dashing guy. Saotome tried all means to attract Shibuki's attention (er........) but Shibuki wouldn't respond much. Later she was to live in the hostel together with the guys. They held a welcome party for Saotome. However someone handled her a glass of wine which she drank without noticing, thus became drunk & Shibuki ran to catch her. The discipline master (a student) came & noticed that Saotome was drunk. The rule states that no students are allowed to drink. Thus, the discipline master tried to punish Saotome. On the other hand, Shibuki was trying to get Saotome away from the discipline master. Upon hearing his footsteps, Shibuki thought of an idea & kissed Saotome all over her upper half of her body (unbuttoned her clothes lor). The discipline master came along & asked if Saotome was drunk. Shibuki replied back that Saotome wasn't drunk, she's only having strong desires for him only. The discipline master couldn't do anything because there's no rule on this. Later he went away. Shibuki felt relieved as they might be suspended from school if the discipline master believed that Saotome was drunk.

Later Saotome found that her key was dropped. Shibuki invited her to sleep in his room. They shared the bed together.

The next morning Shibuki handled Saotome the key. Saotome asked if he got up so early just to search for the key. Shibuki nodded briefly.

Later Saotome went around the school to decide which ECA (extra-curriculum activities) to join. Upon seeing Shibuki in the swimming club, Saotome decided to join in as well. At first he captain rejected, but finally agreed upon 2 conditions. One is to wear bikinis for lesson & the other is to paste a note on the door of her changing room indicating 'Not entry'.

All the swimming club guys cheered in delight when they saw Saotome in bikinis. Saotome greeted them awkwardly. Shibuki was shocked to see her in bikinis. The captain wanted to teach Saotome to swim but Shibuki snatched the job away from him. Saotome happily followed Shibuki & started her swimming lesson. She had no sense of direction, so she went off another way. She thought Shibuki was ahead of her, so she hugged the guy from behind. To her dismay & embarrassment, it wasn't Shibuki. Saotome tried to swim back to Shibuki when the guy she hugged earlier didn't want to let her go. Shibuki came to her rescue & Saotome hugged him affectionately. Later Shibuki was about to kiss Saotome when the clock ringed. Shibuki turned away & left Saotome in the water. Saotome felt rejected, & was thinking why Shibuki hadn't kissed her. She was to get out of the water when she found her top was gone. She searched everywhere but couldn't find it.

Shibuki came to ask her to get out of the water, but Saotome couldn't because she doesn't have her top. So she lied that she wanted to practice some more. Shibuki thought Saotome was angry about not kissing her so he went away. Later in the bathroom her overheard the guys saying they found Saotome 's top, waving it in mid-air. Shibuki grew mad & snatched it from them, saying he's going to return it to Saotome. Saotome was blushing when Shibuki told her that her top is with him, & requested Saotome to turn around as he helped her to wear it back.

The next day (Oops!! I forgot!!!) Erm.... The school decided to shoot a commercial so that it would attract more girls to join the school next year. Saotome was involuntarily the female role & Shibuki was the male role. The theme was that Shibuki is the bodyguard of Saotome & they're having a great time together in the school. Saotome was very happy with the shooting but somehow she saw girls from other school went to pester Shibuki, saying that they wanted his unwanted clothes etc etc. Their main aim was to get his things so as to boast around since Shibuki was the most popular guy among the boy's schools. Later Saotome heard that Shibuki was just 'used' to attract girls to enter the school.

Saotome was very angry & stormed off, but fell down onto the floor. Shibuki ran & licked her wounds. Saotome was thinking Shibuki would do the same thing to any girls he came across; she was no exceptional. Later Shibuki picked her up. The shooting was still going on, so the director told Shibuki to say " I'm your bodyguard (s/t like that )" Shibuki paused & said slowly. "I'm your most faithful bodyguard." He bent his head to kiss Saotome. Saotome & the rest were all caught off-guard. Later the director recovered from his shock, screaming at his camera-man to stop shooting & said that the kissing scene cannot be used to show in the commercial. Shibuki commented, " If this scene cannot be used, so be it. I didn't say you must use it." Then he walked away.

The kissing rumoured all around the school. The guys were very angry with Shibuki. Saotome felt unjustified for Shibuki. Someone by the name (?? I forgot... ok, I name in Jack) came over to Saotome & told her that from that day onwards he was her new bodyguard. Shi was no longer her bodyguard, & he wasn't allowed to come close to Saotome. Saotome shouted at him & the rest of the guys in the canteen that that kiss wasn't a kiss, they're just making a big fuss over a small matter. To Saotome's horror, Shibuki just happened to come into sight. That new bodyguard blocked Saotome from Shibuki & asked if Shibuki had any comment on the replacement. Shibuki replied coldly that it's none of his business. Saotome was worried & tried all means to talk to Shibuki to clear the misunderstanding of her words earlier on, but was always prevented by the new bodyguard. Saotome tried to escape by the window while bathing (to find Shibuki), but fell down on the wet floor. Shibuki was just around the area & quickly rushed into the bathroom. The new bodyguard tried to stop Shibuki, but Shibuki punched him hard on the stomach & told him stiffly that to be a bodyguard he must have potential too. That new bodyguard was helped out of the bathroom by his friends.

Shibuki turned on the shower & asked Saotome to stretch out her hands to wash away the dirt. Saotome said Shibuki would be wet if he kept standing under the shower. Shibuki kissed Saotome again, & asked if this was considered a kiss. Shibuki pressed Saotome why she likes his company & Saotome finally confessed she likes him. Shibuki said he likes her too. Saotome asked him to say that to her again, & Shibuki did. Saotome again asked him to say it again, but this time Shibuki went away, saying that he don't need to say it anymore, coz he'll be saying it every now & then.

My apologies for not completing the story (because it's too descriptive, as u can see, I'm only half-way through!!!!!). However if you like to read romance stories like this one, you'll find it worth-while (however I don't like this kind of stories.... ^-^;).
