Now, let's get on with it! There are some recap at the beginning. Thank you so much Christin for this update!
* note: Carol=Kyaroru Menfuisu=Memphis Izumir=Izimiru
After Izmir captures Carol, they head towards Troy, which is then under
the Hittite s control. During a storm, Izmir saves a mysterious woman
locked in box in a sunken ship. The woman is Kiruke, the witch who
later "hypnotizes" Carol. (I think Kiruke might actually be Circe, the
enchantress in Greek Mythology who turns men into swine. Anyway, that s
just my thought)
Kiruke decides that she will help Izmir because he saved her. She
understands that Izmir loves Carol, and she devises a plan...She at
first pretends to help Carol escape by taking her to the island of Iris
(rainbow) at night when everyone is asleep. Once there, she makes Carol
drink this drink (I m not very sure what kind), and Carol realizes that
Kiruke doesn't want her to escape when she becomes dizzy because of the
drink. She tries to escape but Kiruke starts this fire and overcomes
her. Carol becomes unconscious....
Kiruke goes back to Izmir and tells him to go to the Island of Iris to
see Carol because she will fall in love with the first man she sees when
she wakes up. She also tells him to make her wear a necklace which emits
a certain fragrance which would keep Carol hypnotized. Izmir goes, and
when Carol wakes up, she doesn t recognize him nor remember the past (I'
m not sure how much she can remember because she can remember her maid).
Izmir is overjoyed and tells her that he is the prince of the Hittites
and is her fiancé and is bringing her to Troy to marry her. Carol
believes him and goes with him.
When Carol s maid, Teti, finds out Carol s condition, she is
flabberglasted and tries to make Carol remember but fails. Carol feels
very strange and dizzy and cannot concentrate on thinking.
On their way to Troy, they are attacked by some people of Alanya, which
is a tiny country that the king of Hittite conquered. They want to kill
Izmir. During the battle, a fire is started on the ship, and Carol
suddenly remembers Memphis and begins calling his name. She walks into
the fire and is saved by Izmir. Kiruke makes Carol sleep again and
wonders about the power of Memphis over Carol s heart.
Izmir s ship sinks as it tries to make its way through some narrow
strait. Everyone, though, is saved by some noblemen of Luwia, a country
under the rule of the Minoans. The noblemen realizes who Carol is and
secretly sends a messenger to inform the Minoan navy.
Izmir and Carol arrives in Troy with Carol still in her hypnotized
condition. The King of Hittite is in Troy too, and Izmir informs him
that he is to marry in Troy but would not show him his bride. The Greek
girl who helped Izmir escape from Atlas and who loves Izmir meets the
king, and the king assumes that she is the bride. He secretly rejoices
because he wants Carol also and would not want his son to compete with
him. He rewards the girl with with jewels.
Meanwhile, Memphis and General Yukutas of the Minoans met on sea.
Memphis learns that the ones who kidnapped Carol are heading towards
Troy and agrees with the General to have a combined attack on Troy that
night (night of Izmir and Carol s wedding.) The Minoans want Troy, their
ally, to be free of the Hittites in order for the trade of Tin (the
material that makes weapons) to be free again. Memphis then lands east
of Troy and hurries on horse towards Troy.
It is the wedding day of Carol and Izmir. Carol is still in her
hypnotized condition. The King and Queen of the Hittites attends the
wedding, and when the king finds out that the bride is Carol, he is
furious and orders the Greek girl to be executed for deceiving him. The
Queen interferes and says that no blood shall be shed on the wedding
day. The King orders the girl to be whipped instead.
Izmir carries Carol to the altar, and Carol begins to hear Memphis
calling her. When asked whether she would marry Izmir or not, she
answeres yes because she thought she is answering Memphis s callings.
Izmir is overjoyed, and the wedding is completed. Carol is made to sleep
again by Kiruke.
On the night of the wedding during the feast celebrating the wedding,
the Greek girl who was whipped goes into Carol s room and tries to kill
her. She grabs Carol's necklace away, and Carol s mind begins to clear
up. Carol s maid comes up and protects Carol. Then some strange people
comes into the room...................
The strangers in Carol's room are the Queen of the Amazons and her
companions. (This next part I'm not quite sure of) The Queen's sister is
taken hostage by the King of the Hittites (?), and they want to kidnap
the Prince's bride in order to exchange the hostages. Carol's maid told
them that Carol is hypnotized, and the Queen recognizes Carol as
Daughter of the Nile. She helps Carol get out of the hypnotism (I don't
know how) and also helps them to escape.
Meanwhile, the attack from the Minoan navy on Troy is starting. The city
is in chaos, and Memphis and the Egyptians help the Minoans by sending
many horses into Troy to distract the Hittites. Prince Izmir discovers
that Carol is missing but has to lead the Hittite against the Minoans.
(This next part I'm not sure of) The Greek girl who tried to kill Carol
appears and attacks Izmir. Izmir is wounded and falls into the sea.
Carol, on the other hand, is again captured by the King of Hittites.
Memphis comes into the city leading the horses and looking for Carol. He
sees that Carol is captured by the King of Hittites and confronts the
King. Finally Carol is saved and the Hittites are driven out.
