Queen Marie revealed to Oscar that the reason the 12 men were released so easily was because soon, all the army of France are going to gather in Paris and try to calm the people down, by all means, if that meant deaths. As the revolution was on its way, Oscar seemed to have realized that her life might end soon, for she changed her mind in refusing pose for a painter, and summoned one herself to paint her a portrait.

His death truly affected Oscar but she had no time to mourn for his death for the people were ready to attack the Bastille Prison. The fight was tough, and the Army knew that in order to win, they must kill the commander of the French Guards,-- Oscar first. Therefore, they aimed at Oscar and shot her. Oscar became seriously wounded, and yet, her mind was still on the fight as she ordered the soldiers keeping on firing and lower the bridge. By now, she knew that it was time for her to go to heaven, and was content with how her life turned out. She thanked God for letting her live in this world and present herself fully and live with her heart. Rosalie praied that Andre would not take Oscar away, but Oscar died with content in tears and smile, and saw the surrender of Bastille before closing her beautiful eyes. "Liberty, Equality, and Fraternity! Long Live France" She murmured.
