Letter of Thanks to All

The Ada Arts and Humanities Council wishes to express its deepest appreciation to all the individuals and organizations which contributed so significantly to making the recent Vienna Choir Boys’ concert here in Ada the success that it was.

These include our Special Supporters: Susan J. Cason, O.G. & E., Frank Crabtree Sr. and Ada Coca-Cola, Premier Investment Advisory Services, Inc. - Patricia Laramore, CFP, and Virginia Ramsay, plus our adjunct supporters — First National Bank and Trust Company of Ada, Citizens Bank of Ada, and Oklahoma State Bank.

We wish to acknowledge, moreover, the special assistance furnished by Ada City Schools, Ada Junior High School, David Smith, Jim Cooper, David Vandewalker, East Central University, Medicine Chest Pharmacy, The City of Ada, Mayor Sid Bearden, Marilyn Ellis, members of FCE and Jana Edwards, Prissie Thomas Johnson, Mr. and Mrs. Jimmie C. Thomas, Ada News, Brenda Tollett and Richard Barron, ECU Foundation and Dr. James A. Thomas Sr., Ada Candy Company, Doug Kreis and Wayne Huff.

The Ada Arts and Humanities Council also extends its very heartfelt appreciation to the Chickasaw Nation for their warm hospitality and the wonderful and informative program which they presented for the Vienna Choir Boys and their entourage on Sunday afternoon when the Choir visited the Chickasaw Nation Complex here in Ada. We especially want to commend Gov. Bill Anoatubby, Jo Ann Ellis, Georgie Greenwood, Jefferson Keel, Tim Harjo, Carlin Thompson, Mary Jo Green and the members of the Chickasaw Dance Troupe for their cooperation and enthusiasm in this effort.

In addition, we wish to mention our gratitude for the assistance we received from the Oklahoma Arts Council in regard to this endeavor.

The Choir has come and gone, but the memory of the blending of their beautiful music and the community support will remain for a long time to come.
