Directions to SB*ECD events
(1551 El Prado Ave in Torrance)
Unless specified otherwise, all thursday-evening SB*ECD events are held at Torrance's First United Methodist Church hall. The address is 1551 El Prado Ave, in Torrance.
- from Santa Monica: take Hwy 405 south to Crenshaw Blvd offramp
- from Long Beach: take Hwy 405 north to Crenshaw Blvd offramp
from offramp, head south on Crenshaw Blvd about 1.5 miles; pass Torrance Blvd (light)
and find the intersection with Carson
St; take left (east) onto Carson, cross the railroad tracks, pass one traffic light;
the next side street on the left is El Prado;
- from Los Angeles: take Hwy 110 south to Carson St offramp
- from S. Pedro: take Hwy 110 north to Carson St offramp
from offramp, head west on Carson St, about 1 mile, passing Normandie and Western; be on the
lookout for the intersection with El Prado on your right; if you reach Crenhaw Blvd
you have gone too far west, and must double back.
The First United Methodist Church is across from Torrance High School and
has a lighted sign in front.
