Our church invites you to come in at any time!It is incredible how many people come to visit it (Around 12.000 visitors in 1998). Why? Is it just something interesting to see? Or is it an historic interest?
Our churches are really gems in the manner of their construction. The Marien Church stands tall in the centre of the city, its tower rising to the sky. The bright hall, the artistic carvings and the astronomical clock have made the Marien Church know far and wide.
Should its many artistic features be the only reason why the church is visited?
Could it be that people in the hustle and bustle of life need a place to sit and be silent and turn to God the Lord of our life?
