I'm currently taking some time away from the workplace to be home with my son and to finish writing my dissertation about professional women's symphony orchestras at the University of Chicago. I can also sometimes be found playing Irish fiddle at the Abbey Pub and other area bars, singing with the Schola Cantorum of St. Peter's-in-the-Loop, or conducting various ensembles such as the Gilbert and Sullivan Opera Company.
