Hello Everyone

Hello, My name is Bernardo J. Garcia, Jr. First, I am glad that you have visited my web page. I started this web page in November of 98. My webpage is not completed yet. Although creating webpage is not that difficult, it is very time consuming and at the rate I am going, my webpage will be underconstruction indefinitely.

This page will tell you a little about my self. I do not think it is practical to tell you my whole life story, but let me tell the important things for starters. Before I start, please excuse all spelling errors as I am writing this page using just a plain notepad with no spelling check.

Year of Birth

My parents married in 1974 and a year later I came along. My parents tell me I was as a cute and adorable todller. However, they cannot explain what happen to me afterwards (Ha, Ha!!!). If you ask me, I just go more charming. (He, He)

My Native City

I am a proud and native Houstonian first and foremost. I do not think would ever considering living anywhere else. My family and my roots are in Houston and nothing will change that.

My childhood Years

My childhood years were typical to that of any child. As a child, I played alot of games, I was always in trouble, and my mother was scared stiff when I started riding my bicycle on busy streets. However, as a child I was introducted to the piano. It was my mother's idea for me to learn the piano and although I did not agree with her at the time, I am glad she persisted that I learn the piano.

My Adolescent Years

The family then moved to Austin, TX during this time. I attended Convington Middle School during the eigth grade. I didn't like this school much becuase I didn't have much friends and I personaly felt that alot of the students were trying to grow up way before thier time. In high school, I went to Liberal Arts Academy at Johnston High School. I only stayed thier for the ninth grade but it was a very memorable ninth grade year.

During those two years in Austin, the family spent some quality time together. We visited state and natioal parks. In Texas, we visited Perdernales State Park, Lost Maples State Park, and various other parks that I cannot remember right at this momement. In Arizona, the family spent five days at the Grand Canyon. Visiting the Grand Canyon is a sight and experience I will never forget and always treasure. I encourage anyone wanting an adventure to go to the Grand Canyon. After visiting the Grand Canyon we made a stop at Meteor Crater and completely amazed at the size of this great crater. Many scientists believe that this meteor caused the earth to become void, thus killing all dinosaurs and other living organisms.

It was in Austin that I took my piano studies very seriously. My mother found a private tutor for me and for those two years I learned more about the piano than I ever had during grade school.

The family moved back to Houston and I finished my high school years at Aldine High School. At Aldine Hihg I made new friends and reacquainted with old friends back in grade school. My school activities at Aldine included Choir, Academic Decathelon, and the National Honor Society. I graduated in 1994 with honors and headed to the Univeristy of Houston.

Me Today

Well, this is where I am today. I recieved my BBA from University of Houston with a major in Accounting and Finance. My goal is to start working in the accounting field and take the CPA exam (and PASS) to recieve my certification.

Well, my cyber friends, this is me in a nutshell. Please come by my website as I hope to add new goodies. Good-bye for now.

Cordially,

Bernardo Jose Garcia, Jr
