August 25 - London

Today was the first workday. We had a 10:00 rehearsal in Holy Trinity Church. This is much pettier that my usual office environment. I'm still a little too sleepy to appreciate the acoustics.
From there Kathy and Jonelle and I walked back to the hotel via the back of Royal Albert Hall. After my afternoon nap today, I'm going to the Shakespeare Globe Theater to see Cymbaline. I'll keep you posted.
Thanks to Sharon and Barbara who planed ahead, a few of us went to the reconstructed Shakespeare Globe Theater. Here's Nancy and Barbara on the floor where it's standing room only, always. You're not allowed to sit there. (For the show we had tickets for seats in the upper gallery.) The play was wonderful although it was done in a modern minimalist style that didn't quite fit with the "original reconstruction" concept. I sure Will S. would have approved anyway.
