First I think I should give a little background for those Muggles out there who've never read the books or seen the movie. Quidditch is the Wizarding world's popular sport played 50 feet above the ground on broomstick. There's 7 players on each team and 3 different kinds of balls. The balls are 1 Quaffle which is the size of a soccer ball with some big grooves in it, 2 Bludgers which fly around and try to knock players off their broomsticks, and the Golden Snitch which is about the size of a walnut and is extremely fast and hard to see. There's 3 Chasers, 2 Beaters, 1 Keeper and 1 Seeker. It's the chasers job to use the Quaffle to score goals for their team worth 10 points each. The beaters use small baseball like bats to hit the bludgers out of their teammates way and towards the other team to distract them. The Keeper defends their teams 3 hoops that sit on opposite ends of the stadium. The Seeker has the most important job of all. That person has to catch the Golden Snitch before the other team's seeker. The Snitch is worth 150 points and pretty much guarantees their teams victory. The game only ends when the snitch is caught, however long that may take. So there's a brief overview of the game of Quidditch so enjoy the pictures of the game and the players.
