Biography and Helpful Hints

At work, I am an Advisory Systems Engineer for Hitachi Data Systems. However, my main interest in life is music in all its forms. As a hobby, I do Concert Recording for 4MBS-Classic FM in Brisbane, Australia. At home, when I have time off from editing and production, I play with MIDI equipment. One of these days, I may even be a composer.

I hope you find these items useful. All comments welcome. Any comment is better than no comment at all.

As for the ELP songs, these are all excellent MID files. You have all probably downloaded lots of MID files only to find them badly played or arranged. You will not be unhappy with this selection. Let me know how much you appreciate them.

For fellow Visual Basic programmers, I have also included source code and examples of how to drive MIDI applications from VB. I've put all this in one place for you because it took me ages to find in the first place!

Yamaha XG gurus: I urge you to listen to this month's specials. You will be astonished.
