At last, a MIDI monitor for Windows 95/98/NT with extra facilities for XG and GS sound modules. However, this program will work with all sound cards that I have tried :-)

This program has only one purpose in life - to enable you to watch a MID file while it is being played. How often do you hear an interesting MID file and ask yourself "How did the author achieve that effect?". If you want to study MID files as they are playing, this is the program for you.

Highlights:

• Watches incoming MIDI messages
• Displays Note On/Off so you can see which channel is playing
• Captures SYSEX so that you can decode it with XG/GS SYSEX Decoder
• Watches volume, pan, reverb etc so that you see how a sound is created
• Allows you to change patch, reverb, chorus etc while the file is playing
• Allow you to mute or solo any track while the file is playing
