Paul and Sandra are both graduates of Baldwin-Wallace College with degrees in Music Education. After their marriage in 1962, they moved to Milwaukee, Wisconsin where Paul was a violist in the Milwaukee Symphony and Sandra taught in the Riverdale-Maplewood Schools.

In 1965 they moved to New Wilmington, PA, where Paul started his teaching and conducting at Westminster College. Sandra taught music in the Wilmington Schools for several years and then resigned when our first child, Cathy was born.

In the next year and a half, she earned the MEd degree from Westminster College and Steven was born. We have been living in New Wilmington ever since.

Soon Sandra was asked to teach Piano at Westminster and several years afterward she also began teaching at Grove City College. She is still teaching at both colleges in addition to a large personal piano studio.

Paul and Sandra both studied at the College-Conservatory of Music of the University of Cincinnati, where Paul earned the D.M.A. degree in 1976.

Performance has always been an important part of our lives and we have seen, as we mature as musicians, that we prefer to perform as Accompanyist and Conductor. Sandra has done alot of accompanying both for instrumentalists and vocalists. A CD and cassette with one of her singers is already on sale.

Paul has concentrated on conducting, although he still plays viola with the Mercer County Historical Chamber Players several times a year. A fully paid, professional orchestra, the GSO performs Adult and Youth Concerts in Passavant Center, Thiel College, Greenville, PA.
