Bromfield Priory
Reviews:
(Provided by John
Peterson) ....quiet and lovely, with a very large room containing a large
kitchen area as part of the living and dining area. Knowing absolutely nothing
about using coal, we never did figure out the coal stove. Mrs. Francis, who
lives across the parking area and will baby-sit for those with toddlers and
generally watches things for the housekeeper, is a lovely lady. Clive of India
is buried in Bromfield.

Without a car - challenging but we managed it! The gatehouse is in what is nominally called a town,
but is in fact a post office the size of a log cabin and a Jasper Conran-ised ex-pub.
The nearest town is Ludlow, a 45-minute brisk walk, but well stocked with food shops
and restaurants once you get there. We went for lots of walks along the Shropshire Way.
