Ford Cottage, Coombe

- P&S: Idyllically situated hamlet of Landmark properties in a secluded valley a mile from the wild Cornish coast. Only snag with Ford Cottage is that two sides of it are on a road that is popular with hikers, so it’s not that private. Special with us because the winter weekend we went we had the whole hamlet to ourselves. Also special because I subsequently discovered that it’s a regular haunt of the ‘Ruralist’ art movement, which I’ve always liked.
