Without a car - the nearest station is Cowden, which is a short walk through the woods. However, I recommend travellers get off at Edenbridge Town, do a humungous amount of shopping, then take a taxi to the cottage and settle in for the duration. Lots of lovely walks, but probably not much to do if you're there on Shanks's pony for longer than a weekend.
