The outskirts of Peterborough might not seem the most romantic place
to
holiday but you are barely aware of the sprawl of the city and there
is much
to see in the environs. Its a real bargain for two as its priced more
moderately than many Landmarks. The traffic noise from the A1
(invisible but
fairly close) spoils the peace outside, but is no worry indoors. You
can
there easily by train to Peterborough and cycle or get a bus to
Alwalton.
