| GENERAL STUFF |
 Meet Makoto (Mah-koh-toh). It's not hard to believe that this amazon is Sailorjupiter (セーラージュピター)! She is also my favorite. She's very powerful. In "Power Girl in Love, Jupiter-chan" ("Jupiter Comes Thundering In"), Makoto is transferred to the same school as Usagi and Ami. Because of her unusual height, there was no uniform in her size, thus explaining why her uniform is different (better ^_^) from theirs. She first saves Usagi from a beating and later shares her lunch. She and Rei were often rivaling each other for the title of "most powerful" until Haruka came around. (Is that a surprise? ~.~?) She loves to train and practice her fighting techniques, but she's quite boy-crazy and it sometimes gets in the way. She seems to go nuts over many guys but she's really deeply hurt that this one dumped her. She is very strong, physically, but not hotheaded. She gives Julia Child a run for her money in the kitchen and loves all kinds of foods. Makoto's parents died in a plane crash and she apparently lives alone. ;_; She seems to be in the background for most of the series. She uses lightning and wood in her attacks, which are purely for butt-whooping damage. In one episode Mamoru throws a massive punch but stops right before he hits her face. In the Japanese version she screams and he tells her she's nothing without the other senshi. ;_; |
| MY OPINION |
 Mako-chan is like me in some ways. She has the same color hair and eyes, height, and mellow personality. Of course, I do not have breasts and I would not be caught dead in a mini-skirt! =^^= She's wise, but not a smart-ass; she's got attitude, but a gentle side, also. Best of all, she's down-to-earth, but not sarcastic or cynical. She's the kind of person who'd make a great friend. She's not overbearingly agressive, but she's not meek either. Her loyalty is solid and faithful and she tends to dote sometimes. I like her attacks and I think her henshin sequence in Stars was really good. Unfortunately, she's also the most neglected character considering the length of time she was around. When the amount of highlighted moments are compared to the amount of time they're around, Mako-chan falls behind even that of Hotaru and Setsuna! Boo! >_< Makoto is a very classy girl. Her fuku gives out the same sense. I love green, and though I'm not a fan of pink, they went well together (on Mako of course, ^_~). Her rose earrings are cool. I think Mako-chan is pretty. She's not so beautiful that it's fake. She's real in a way. Lace-up, heeled, shin-high boots are perfect for classy Mako-chan. I love her emerald green eyes! |
