WHAT ARE WE?

The Holy Cross Adult Community Band Inc. is a non-profit, charitable organization, registered in the Province of Saskatchewan and has been operating since 1982. Our purpose is to provide an opportunity for adults to learn to play a brass, woodwind, or percussion instrument in a group (band) setting and at the same time provide a challenging and rewarding leisure and social activity. The organization is supported by Saskatchewan Lotteries through the Saskatchewan Band Association. It is managed by a Board of Directors elected annually by the membership. The organization is comprised of 4 bands, each at a different level from beginner through advanced, which meet once weekly. Members may join at the level which best suits their needs and may move from one level to another during the year should their needs change. In addition each band performs several times per year usually on the same night as weekly rehearsals.
