Past
ManBREAK were formed in Liverpool in May '94. The only line up change since then was the introduction of Stu Boy Stu, relieving Mr. Blonde of drumming duties, allowing him to take up the mic. The band were signed in '95 to Almo in the United States and later to One Little Indian. The first (UK) single 'Wasted' was released earlier this year - soon followed by 'Ready or Not' and 'Round and Round'. ManBREAK have toured extensively over the past eighteen months, taking in four UK tours, an appearance at Phoenix '97 and various summer festivals in Europe. They have gained most renown though for their hugely successful two month tour of the United St ates with Luscious Jackson and Live. Their debut album 'Come and See,' was released in the UK on November 10th (One Little Indian) to coincide with the recent tour.
Present
The band have only just unpacked their bags after three weeks of intensive tour frolics with 'A' and 'Glitterbox', brought together by that great bastion of rock publishing - Kerrang.
The highlights of the last three weeks include a stage invasion at the Aldershot show, doubling up as on stage security for those funky hipsters 'A' in Portsmouth - how ace was that! - and rounding off the tour doing backing vocals for 'A's 'Five in the morning' at the Exeter gig.
There were however a couple of low points which included the unfortunate cancellation of the Liverpool, Glasgow and Bristol shows due to illness and Mr. Blonde breaking Jason's ('A') finger on stage in Maidstone (whoops, sorry JP).

Future
'But what does the future hold' I hear you cry. Well, there are various tours in the pipeline taking us back over to the United States in December to support Chumbawamba and to Australia and Europe in '98.
The new year will also see the release of a new single in the States and you will be able to catch a remix of 'Ready or Not' (by Ben Grosse) on the Mortal Kombat 2 soundtrack.
If you're quick you can probably snap up a copy of the current November issue of 'Dazed & Confused' where you'll find a full ten pages on ManBREAK - is that cool or what.
