The Jewish people are voting with their feet. They go to the synagogue, eat kosher and are increasingly respecting Shabbat! The Jewish People are faithful to their religion! They realize, that there is a Creator(3) and only one Creator (4) to this world! And he gave us a task to perform. We have a task to fulfill and it is to have a good time(5), but first we must earn it in this world. The anti-religious media try to brainwash(6) us daily. They believe, that they are smarter(7) than their parents. We see things in the opposite(8) way. They will do anything to go against their own people's faith(9). They will do anything to make us look bad(10). They call us "religion-merchants". Browse thru my site and ask yourself: "Is this ultra- religious Hassid a nitwit? Is he a narrow-minded fanatic? Is he a parasite in this modern society?" If you grew up in a closed community, and you are looking for new horizons, there is no need to leave your religion! Moses Mendelssohn, the great reformer, started the "enlightenment" movement. His son became a goy and his grand-children grew up as goyim. But Felix, who knew nothing of his heritage and became world-famous, discovered a magnificent mass by Bach, but was not allowed to play it in the church. Felix could not have studied musicology as a Jew, but the goyim did not forget, that he was born as a Jew. Now I can study musicology at the university, with my beard and peyos. She doesn't realize, that girls are superior!(*) Just, so that you can follow her raving: 1) a woman cannot testify in Rabbinical court. 2) A divorcing Jewish couple must, additionally, be divorced by a Rabbinical court. The secular divorce has no value, is just a formality. The man must give her a "get". (Cf. Deutero 24:1.) (below) Some divorced men will try to extort funds from their ex-wife, who might want to remarry, by refusing to give the "get". It's the man, who divorces her and not the other way, so she is helpless in countries, where the Jewish law is not legally supported. But on the other hand, Janet is ignorant of the work, that these despised Rabbis have done for her. Though the man could divorce his wife for any reason, the Rabbis (Rabbi Gershom, "Light of the Diaspora", tenth century) have decreed, that .... no divorce is granted without her consent! True, in the Western world, getting divorced is a problem. But then you should see the mess, here in Israel. I've been thru it twice, so I know! A Jewish person, married or single, cannot "live together" without marriage and marriage cannot be, without proper divorce. A married Jewish woman without "get", living with another man, is commiting a capital crime and the product is a bastard ("mamzer"), that can never be fixed. A problem. 3)A baby born into a Jewish family, is a Jew. The problem starts, when there is no family, e.g. the mother is single. Even if she is married by civil law, she is unmarried, if there is no "chuppa". Then we have to define the status of the child by the only certain fact: is the mother Jewish? N.B. A couple living together, with or without civil marriage, must consult a rabbi, concerning a "get", before they can start a relationship with a different partner. 4) It is customary, that a sick person's name and his mother's name are mentioned, when blessing the person with a speedy recovery. 5) Check Leviticus 12:1-5. (below) Here Janet has shown, that she has actually no idea, what she is raving about. She claimed earlier: (quote) it was only about 300 years ago that some Polish rabbis got together and said, since women barely outlived child bearing age, they could be forgiven for not doing time-related duties. Later, they said, since it was now common usuage to excuse women from these obligations -they then decided to say that women couldn't do it. (unquote), which is nonsense, (below) but here she is criticizing the Torah itself, which means, G-d Himself. He has done it all wrong! If this is not heresy, then all Christians are Jewish, too! If anything you say, is acceptable, one can oppose the whole Bible and consider oneself religious. It might be acceptable in some (Reform or Progressive or Egalitarian?) circles, but they must be ready to accept the consequences. |

All thru the ages, people have come up with ideas, how to improve on the Bible. And
when they realized their absurdity, they attacked the Oral Law, which explains the Bible.
And if that didn't work, they claimed, that it was obsolete, being replaced by a new Testament.
The Mosaic Law, described in the Torah and witnessed by 3,000,000 people is replaced
by the testimony of a single person, whether he lived 2000, 1400 or 100 years ago. Thomas
of Celano (dates from the 13th century) even inserted into the Requiem: "Deis irae, deis illa"
as testified by David and Sybilla. Well, if they said so, you can certainly rely upon their word!

"Religion is opium" Communism has threatened the world for seventy years and suddenly it has disappeared. But not completely. In Cuba, Fidel Castro is still waving a red flag and in Israel the left-wing is fighting a desperate and embittered battle. After the kibbutz movement has for decades been living off other people's backs, the cuts in taxpayers' funds to support the extravagancies of socialist extremists, have forced them to work for their living. One important kibbutz has recently split its effects between the members and is continuing as a co-operative agricultural village. But the hate for Judaism is still rampant in the country. Even more so, they are feeling the effects of fighting a lost battle and the more they feel, that they are losing, the more desperate and embittered they become. They will make peace with their enemies, if it will help them, to win one battle against Judaism. Return "The "enlightened" Israeli's" The "enlightened" Israeli's feel, that the out-dated Jews are winning the war, whilst their "modern" forces must admit one defeat after another. Their problem is, that they don't realize, that what they call modern is outdated, not for decades, nor for centuries, but for millenia. Since the beginning of the world, "civilization" has claimed to understand the Creation. Return "There is a Creator" The world has just appeared from nowhere, just like that, they claim. Now, if I would say, that the space shuttle has just developed without human intervention, they will lift a finger to their temple. Every kid knows, how much effort has been exercised, to arrive at sending a vehicle into space. The main point is, that complicated things, like cars and planes, or space shuttles, must be conceived on a drawing-board, before you even think of how and when. But a universe can develop just by itself. Okay, but there must have been a primary force, that put all this in motion. Even if you want to insist, that there were multiple forces, then they must at one point have had a common source. This we call the Creator. And since we find, that all human beings, all over the globe, have the same heart and intestines and lungs, and the babies are conceived and born the same way all over, we can safely assume, that there is only One Creator. Return "There is only one Creator" And since there is a Creator, we can safely assume, that His Creation, this world, has a purpose. If you say, that you are doing things without goal or purpose, I can accept that, knowing that people growing up in modern society could well act according to their teachings. But actually no psychologist will accept this claim. People's actions are done with a purpose, mostly, in order to achieve pleasure. So how can we assume, that the Creator would create a highly complicated universe without goal or purpose? Return "To have a good time" And to make a long story short, we have a task in this world and it is to have a good time! Well, actually, it is, but that's for later. First we must earn it. Our wish to have a good time is nature, but our task is, to earn it. When choosing a trade, you understand, that even as you can choose a trade, that you will like, it is not leisure. You'd rather not work, but one has to earn one's living. We are in this world for a purpose and we have to learn how to achieve it. And, of course, nature tells us, that this purpose is hard to achieve and we'd better have a good time. So instead of keeping the commandments, which help us fulfill this purpose, it is easier to have a good time. But what about our conscience? We know deep in our heart, that we are doing the wrong thing and feel guilty. So if we can persuade these obnoxious, conceited, holier-that-thou, smug religious Jews, to eat pig and smoke a cigarette on Shabbat, with a promiscuous kibbutz-girl on our lap, we'll feel less guilty. If they do it, who will tell on me? Return "anti-religious media" And with 95% of the media in anti-religious hands, it is a miracle, that the people in Israel, being brainwashed on a daily basis, still are getting more and more interested in their heritage. Today Sunday February, 14 1999, even the newsmedia admitted, that there were a quarter million ultra-orthodox demonstrators at the great rally in Jerusalem. We can safely assume, that there were more, maybe 400.000 people, maybe half a million! This morning CNN announced: " JERUSALEM (CNN) -- Israeli police braced for rival demonstrations by tens of thousands of ultra-Orthodox Jews and their opponents on Sunday over recent controversial Supreme Court rulings." But after the rally dispersed quietly, after demonstrating their sincerity, it was not worth a single line in the news. The Israeli B.C. had sent a man with a mike into the rally, to capture ultra-orthodox demonstrators voicing vehement opinions against the Supreme Court and he came back emptyhanded. They were not getting involved in violent attacks and foul accusations, they were demonstrating peacefully for their religious rights in a Jewish state, where the Jewish faith is trampled and abused in a way, that would not be tolerated abroad. Return "smarter than their parents" People feel the need to have security, that they are doing the right thing. The old civilizations were very developed. Who told you, that we are improving? Would we know how to build pyramids or to set up these giant statues of the Easter Islands? But I am not talking from that point of view. The Darwinists claim to be descendant from primates and so they think, that they are becoming more and more human, but they actually become more and more like their ancestors. They want to forget, that their grandfathers came crawling out of a tree and are ashamed of their heritage. They think, that they are smarter than their fathers and even more so than their grandfathers. Their children are even smarter than themselves, so they can't give them a proper education and teach them to be polite, even to their parents. Return "How we see things" We see things in the opposite way. We believe, that man was created perfect and the generations have slowly gone down the drain. So we have much respect for our parents and even more for our grand- parents and are reverent of our ancestors. We try to follow in their footsteps. And we learn our heritage, the Holy Torah. And the more we learn it, the more we discover its meaning and continue to explore the Heavenly secrets of every sacred word. Return "Against their own people" They scoff at that, they have their own commentary, they conceive the Holy Scriptures in the way, that their crooked minds want to interpret. No normal person would use an appliance in any other way, than described by the manufacturer. When you buy a car or a computer or a microwave, you first read the manual. But they can interpret the Scriptures, without having any previous training. There is nothing new about that. This practice is very old and has been done right from the Revelation on Mt. Sinai. Return "To make us look bad" The "enlightened" Israeli's say, that the ultra-religious, not only that they are ignorant and "subhumans" (compare Nazi propaganda), but also refuse to serve in the IDF. What have I been doing for 20 years? How did I get onto Mt.Hermon in 1971 or in Fa'id in 1973? How did I do so many courses and stages in the training camps, in Kaplan Hospital and Meir Hospital? Becoming top paramedic in my brigade! Right, I stayed a private, as I was too religious to be promoted, until they realized, that I was the brigadier's right hand and they were obligated to make me corporal. Upon which I begged to be released from the IDF at the age of 52. Oh, yeah, I am an exception. But in 1975 I was serving in the Sinai and more than half of the unit was religious. My neighbours: Dov K., Pinhas A. and Gedalya E. were there together with me. All exceptions. Return (Deuteronomium 24:1.) Return Kiddushin chap. 1 mishna 7 (free translation from the original) "All time-related commandments, men are obligated, women not. All prohibitions, whether time-related or not, men and women are obligated." There are exceptions to this rule, e.g. eating matzah on Passover, women are obligated. The main intention of the mishna is, to point out, that prohibitions are for both sexes the same. The mishna is the Oral Law, which was received at Mt. Sinai, together with the Written Law. Whoever denies the Oral Law is a heretic and has no part in the World to Come. The Oral Law was put into its present written form after the destruction of the Holy Temple (70 C.E.), i.e. ca. 2nd century. The Torah has given the Jew 613 commandments, to enable him to serve G-d. (The are 365 prohibitions and 248 mitzvot). Since man is an aggressive and egocentric creature (cf. Genesis 6:5 and 8:21), he must fulfill these 248 commandments to lift himself out of his inherent evil. The Jewish woman is inherently superior, the opposite of aggressive and egocentric, and therefor not obligated by part of these commandments. Return |
