Colorado University Campus

These are some pictures I found in an old album from my college years.

One of the most famous features of the CU campus. It was filmed in a scene from the old movie, "The Glenn Miller Story".

Situated adjacent to Sewell Hall (an upperclass dorm). Legend has it that
the lions roar when a virgin walks by.

A magnificent and slightly mysterious auditorium. The towers housed organ practice rooms, which were accessed via narrow, winding stairways. At the top of those stairs were trap doors, from which one could climb onto the flat tower roof.

This is one of the lovely paths that cross the CU campus. In the background, you can catch a glimpse of the mountains. The campus buildings are constructed of pink sandstone with red tile roofs.
