Classical MIDI Archives: Excellent, Excellent, MIDI site. Bravissimo!!

Books

"Three Kingdoms": For those familiar w/ the Destiny of an Emperor and Romance of the 3 Kingdoms videogames, this is the book they're based on. Very interesting and fascinating-just wish I had the time to read the whole thing!

Search Engines--Quality depends on what you search for.

: One of the best engines I know of
DejaNews: Another engine. Have used it very seldomly, but it's here in case you want to use it.
Dogpile: Searches multiple engines. I don't have enough experience with it to make a good judgement.
Excite: A pretty good search engine. Sometimes, it doesn't adhere effectively to the keywords I type in.
Hotbot: Good engine, excellent if you are looking for GAMES.
: Okay, about same quality as Excite
Lycos: Good engine, depending on what you need to look up. The only drawback I've noticed is that on some days, it.... is.... VERY.... slow-sometimes won't even load.
Metacrawler: The KING DADDY of all engines. It searches about 5 of the major engines at a time. But, it's mostly a summary; you'd get a more thorough listing if you used any of the engines it searches under. Fortunately, it is very fast and reliable.
Webcrawler: Not bad...but not as good as AV and Metacrawler.
Yahoo: My friends like it. The only reason I use it is because it enables you to cycle through other engines without having to re-type a search string.

Games

Cowgod's Bard's Tale Resources

PARADISE..if you like the Bard's Tale. Here, you can download the full-versions of the classic RPG and its sequels. There are also manuals, and maps. ALL FOR FREE!!!

Very extensive library of shareware, demos, reviews, and freeware games. Like Lycos, it tends to be kind of slow, sometimes.
