The Entry Level competitors were the first to go out on course. The course was challenging and had some interesting fences. The largest fence on course was fence number 11, "Donny's Produce Stand".
The fence is maximum height and maximum width.
Other fences on course included the "Fallen Tree" (fence 6) that had
been cut and dragged into place (with much encouragement by Danny Fraser)
a few days prior to show day. It looked as though it really belonged there.
The entry level course also had an interesting "baby Trakaner" which caused,
surprisingly few problems.
The Starter Course (2' 6") was very popular.
The course was pretty open and offered riders a chance to GET GOING!!
There were some other interesting fences incluing a "Zig Zag" affair.
STADIUM PHOTOS
The Stadium was held at the end of the day (in true 3-day fashion).
There was a threat of rain which held off untill the last horse was on
course.
The Renfrew Horse Trials would like to thank all the many volunteers
and helpers who made the day a great success. I would like to thank
Christina
Handley for attending our event and taking wounderful photographs.
