I've excellently honed all levels of skills, owning and running my own financial and insurance brokerage company since 1979, I.F.I.S.©, where my Motto - Our Clients Come First - The Companies Must Serve Well' is also our Mission Statement!
With excellent personal business relations, from V.P.s to COE's, my excellent inter-personal skills, along with analytical & negotiating abilities -I have done well for both my clients and myself. I've maintained up-to-date hands-on expertise in all operations, from Technology(computers) to Technocracy (aka: The 'new' Face of Bureaucracy).
Since 1979, I have also held various positions within the Financial & Insurance Industry, leading to my operations as an Independent Broker in Financial & Insurance Services Broker - Independent means, in this case, that I am fully dependent on excellent relations and communications with everyone within this and all pertinent industries.
Many top-positioned people have told me that I am easily worth 10 Times by weight in Gold, for by intelligence, drive, directional focus, abilities, skills & creativity in application of the above.!

HISTORICAL TO PRESENT
Life Underwriter Recruit 1978-1979 Dominion Life Insurance Company Montreal, Quebec.
Did all their courses at highest mark, in record time. Easily accomplished after obtaining degrees from both McGill University (Post Grad) and Concordia University (undergrad). Became THE Office product analyst and the product expertise person that everyone, including the manager, came to check with. Was assigned cases, such as a McGill Profession - PhD in Economics who no-one could sell anything to - I had no such problem, and even changed his Term Life insurance when he moved across the country though giving him written financial analysis of the numeric benefits of such a change.
EDUCATION
Post-Graduate - Education Specialist Certification 1977-1978 McGill University Montreal, Quebec Major: Music in Education - Minor: Everything else pertinent
Activities: Actually ended up as a full-time, 'sub' teacher before the end of the McGill program, via recommendation of Gwen Lord - now a head-honcho with the P.S.B.G.M., (Protestant School Board of Greater Montreal) - then, she was that high-school's Principal. I've been busy supporting myself since age 16 and have never been without either work, nor items of interest and satisfaction in my life.
Undergraduate - BFA 1974- '77 Concordia University Montreal, Quebec
Major: Music(Arranging, Writing & Jazz Improv) - Minor: Sociology, Humanities, Psychology, Fine Arts.
Activities: Playing and Arranging music - maintaining B+ average while working to pay my way, and exploring life to the fullest, in every way possible.
SKILLS - I can do anything! If I can't do it now, I can learn to do it - FAST AND WELL!
I did many of my University Courses in a Video / Film Format This Required far more work, but it yielded far more interesting results.
Worked some summers in heavy construction, steel work, & other high-paying manual labour jobs, in order to pay my way through my university education - very focused and motivated!
Taught myself Computers and everything to do with them, then later - became an expert in Office Automation, personally using every tool to the efficiency level of being able to do the work of 2 to 3 persons, in terms of productivity - including accuracy and expertise in the areas that were automated - such as: All Rates and products shopping and the Analysis of these products, along with expertise in extracting pertinent governmental laws (tax, etc,, ) from skill-honed resource extractions.
People Skills from being asked to Run THE TOP CROWN LIFE Agency in Montreal (after their Head Office did 20 confidential interviews with my clients) - people Skills here being: Agency Management and Sales, Client relations, Office Relations, Trust and Confidence from all, etc..
Math Skills (with computer programs as aid), Music Skill, Photography Skills, I can't Draw worth a Dam though! Graphics skills(computer related usages), Audio Visual & Presentation Abilities - Computer and other media, Desktop Publishing, Contact Management - Heck! Everything! I AM a genius, after-all! <grin?>
LANGUAGES: English & French - Reading & Writing - I require a Spell-Checker in both langauges. I also require editing for versions/drafts - as I create on-the-spot.
OTHER ACCOMPLISHMENTS AND INTERESTS -Hold Various Association & Company Certifications. -Hobbies: Music Listening-Jazz, Classical-ecclectic... -Activities: Love Softball, occasionally play music with others, some photography, lots of Leaning Curve activity with latest in All Technology. -Also: Country Drives(not much time tho), Friends, and home-made dinners with special folk. & a passion for Gadgets too!
