A new numismatic society has recently been established for the collection of bank notes, coins and medals in Israel. (The society is registered in terms of the Israeli Law of Societies and Associations - 1980)

New members are being recruited locally and international would be most welcome by the Society.

Annual membership fees are US$35.00 payable by international bank draft.

  1. The aims and intentions of the Society are summarized as follows: (A free translation)

  1. To encourage and promote the collection of coins, bank notes and medals minted and issued in Israel.
  2. To provide information to collectors and others interested in this field.
  3. To undertake and organize for its members and other interested persons, social and cultural activities including conferences and educational seminars.
  4. To arrange and organize displays, exhibitions and professional literature and material as well as organizing competitions for collections of excellence.
  5. To organize meetings for the purpose of exchanging and completing collections.
  6. To arrange catalogues, updates, prices and latest market development.
  7. To enter into agreement, to rent or to buy in any manner, to receive gifts, to hold in any manner, whether for consideration or not for consideration, assets, including immovable property, benefits, rights, permits, rentals and equipment, all for the furtherance of the aims mentioned above.
  8. To receive donations and grants from any person in Israel or outside of Israel, to create funds for the purpose of investing in any activity that the Society deems necessary for its requirements.
  9. To enter into any activity with any person, body, corporation or institution that will benefit the Society's aims in part or in full. Sources of funds will be used to finance the Society's activities.
