I made the annual holiday trip in December. Of course I'm right on time, getting the pictures up in March!

Grandma, the Star of my Trip!

Grandma was jetsetting on the east coast when I arrived, so I only got to see her for a couple of days. But as always, we made it count, having a great time visiting in her Breakfast Room^TM and at dinner at the newest Chinese resturant in Columbus. It used to be My McDonald's when I was a kid, and now they're serving sweet and sour pork.
What's up with that?

If you know Grandma, you know that she's holding court here. Her Breakfast Room has been the family gathering place for as long as I can remember. I learned all the important things in life in this room, the value of a hug and how to play poker! Note the presence of the all-important coffee mug.

Here's me with my favorite person, Grandma. I'm so happy to see her, as I always am!

Here's my mom, Marti, with Grandma at the fine Chinese resturant. Grandma always looks so elegant, this night was no exception. We all went out for a fun meal after Christmas.

Here's my mom, chillin in the family living room. For some reason, we never sat here when I was a kid, but Mom discovered that it exists when she tripped over a chair shortly after she retired, so now she hangs out there a lot.

This is my best friend, Chris in the family den. This used to be the only room we hung out in until Mom found the living room. Now it's a whole new world of sitting excitement!
