Glucose Tolerance Test:

| Main Menu | Tests During Pregnancy |

This test is usually given around the 20th week of pregnancy and can determine how your body handles sugar. Your blood is taken before drinking a sweet, syrupy mixture and then again after drinking (about an hour) the syrupy mixture. A high score can mean that you have gestational diabetes or may be a sign that you have a high chance of getting gestational diabetes.
