Infertility and Trying to Conceive:

Infertility is termed as the inability to conceive within a two-year period of time while trying to become pregnant.

If you are having problems conceiving, the last thing you want to hear is "you need to relax". I have compiled information for you to help achieve conception as well as information about infertility itself.

Things that may help conception:

Temperature taken with a basal thermometer and charted for future prediction of ovulation. (see related topics below for more information)

Checking the CM for quantity (amount) and quality (stretchability) during your menstrual cycle. Changes in the cervical mucus can be seen before and after ovulation. (see related topics below for more information)

These tests may be purchased near pregnancy testing products. They help pinpoint the time when ovulation is nearing. (see related topics below for more information)

Using diabetes glucose testing strips to test CM for alkalinity and acidity. This is inserted into the vagina and held against the cervix for a short period of time and then looked at for change in color. The strip turns to a darker color when ovulation is approaching.
