I'm not your average Elvis fan. I don't really like much of his music (although I still have the original 45 rpm of Return to Sender that I got when I was a kid), I don't watch reruns of his old movies, and I don't collect everything Elvis I can get my hands on. Still, I have some sort of odd fan thing going on. I've always wanted to be married in Las Vegas by an Elvis impersonator. And I finally got to tour Graceland a couple of years ago with my son. He suggested we go to Memphis to watch all the fans act weird and that's exactly what we did. Here are a few pictures of some of the Elvis things I've managed to end up with over the years. Maybe I'll get around to taking pictures of more of them some day. |
