Pictures of anything I might actually
get around to scanning.... ;)

ALY

Aly is my youngest daughter, the fourth child born. I call her my little Alybit. She is absolutely the sweetest little thing. You'll never find another one as precious as this!

JADE

Jade is my middle daughter, the third out of my four children. We've called her "JJ" ever since since she was born. She's also my sweet "Angel Baby" - the most loving, caring child I've ever met (and the easiest baby of all four). She's always the first to say, "Thank you!" She's also the one that looks the most like me. And, except when she's hitting one of her sisters, the most well-behaved child I know. :)

SHANNON

Shannon is my oldest daughter, the second of my four children. Her friends call her "Shanmo" (parts of both her first and last names), but I call her "Shamu" because she hates it...LOL... Shannon is tall, slender, smart, pretty, blonde, and blue-eyed. Life is going to be sooooo difficult for her.

STEVEN

Ahhh, my firstborn. And my only son. Doesn't every mother want her son to be a doctor, a lawyer, a CPA..? Yeah, me too... but I got Steve instead. My boy is an artist through and through; he plays several instruments, writes music and lyrics, writes fiction and poetry, draws comic strips (and just about anything else), and designs the most incredible computer animations. He's not just an artist, he's a WORKING artist!!! He graduated from the Art Institute of Houston and is busy making a name for himself here in Houston. I could not be more proud of him!

CARLA (me)

There are a couple of pictures of me elsewhere on the site, but here are a few more.

Pictures of Carla (That's me!)

DOROTHY BERGER

My mother passed away not too long ago, but I still feel as if she is here and watching over me. I made a tribute for her on another site, The World of Words, where I highlighted some of the more amusing things she said.

SEYMOUR (SY) BERGER

My daddy... he passed away when I was only 3, but Mom kept him alive with stories about their life together.

Pictures of My Dad

CHARLES AND ROSE BERGER

My father's parents... Papa Charlie was born in Austria and Nana was born in Hungary (well, Austria-Hungary, if you want to get technical about it). They both came to the states as young adults and married here. My father was their only child.

WILLIAM AND YETTA ARONSON

My mother's parents were from Russia (Papa Lemke) and Poland. Their families knew each other over there. When my grandfather's family came to the U.S., they later brought Yetta over to stay with them when she was a teenager. William and Yetta eventually married and had four children, Julius, Sidney, Dorothy, and Ruth.

MORRIS ARONSON

My mother's grandfather, Morris was one of the elders in his Jewish community in New York.
