Serenade's Place does not collect any information about visitors to the web site for any reason. If a visitor elects to share their email address, usually by sending an email to Carla Moore, the webmistress, their email address is never shared with any other organization or individual.
Okay, so maybe I get curious and check to see what URL referred you here, or what type of browser you're using when you view my site, what operating system you've got, the screen resolution you use, the color depth supported by your monitor, whether or not you have support for JavaScript and which version you're using, or if you have a Java-enabled browser, but, other than that, I don't try to find out anything at all about you. Really. :)
Visitors applying for "The Spelling Bee Award" give their permission to have their site logo/banner and URL displayed on the Winners Page. Visitors Submitting a Recipe give their permission to have their email address/site URL posted unless a written request is specifically made that this information is to be omitted. Visitors who enter their email address when Signing the Guestbook understand that this information is voluntary and will be displayed along with the post. By applying to join any of the webrings managed by Carla Moore through Webring Central, applicants agree to the Rules for joining the rings.
None of the information you share with me about your life, job, significant other, grooming habits or lack thereof, sexual preferences, IQ, or political or religious beliefs will be revealed to any third party without your specific written and signed instructions to do so. However, I do talk in my sleep.
You may request at any time to see any and all data compiled about you (as if I have the time to bother with compiling anything other than dirty laundry). You may also elect to have such data destroyed at any time (if only it were that easy with dirty laundry). Data concerning you which you have requested to see will be delivered to you via your choice of delivery method within no more than ten working days from the date of your request (my working days are Tuesdays and Sundays). Data concerning you which you have requested be destroyed will be totally destroyed within no more than three working days from the date of your request.
INFORMATION COLLECTED BY THIRD PARTIES
When you click through any of the banners or other links on Serenade's Place, vendors or sites you visit may have privacy policies different from those of Serenade's Place. Please consult the privacy policy of vendors and site managers whose sites you visit for more information. Neither Serenade's Place nor Carla Moore is responsible for data collected by vendors or site managers via their web sites.
UPDATES TO THIS POLICY
As Serenade's Place evolves over time or the data handling policies change, the privacy policy will be updated to reflect these changes. Changes made to this policy will be effective ten days following the posting of the new policy on the web site. If significant changes are made to the data handling practices, I will make efforts to notify active visitors in reasonable ways that may include an administrative email or other notice. This privacy policy will be governed by the laws of the United States and the great State of Texas. In the event of succession from the Union, this privacy policy will be duly amended to reflect complete and unquestioning adherence to the laws of the Country of Texas.
