Beloved Father,
From
the minute I was born
You
were there to gather
A
helpless babe from night to morn
Destined
to serve our Heavenly Father
Unpredictable
child at the start
A
reflection of hopelessness
Your
love for Him touched my heart
My
initial taste of our Father's goodness
Your
gentle and quiet spirit
Gave
me peace and courage
To
stand and serve in joyousness lit
And
understand His love and grace
No
longer found life meaningless
The
day I put my faith in Him
Gave
new life to heart so hopeless
In
His secure love, troubles seem dim
|
I
once tried to prove my worth
Chasing
successes, with no meek
I
wanted my secular life to go forth
But
it's His praises I now seek
Though
we still face life of challenges
Nothing
could ever separate His love
We
experience wind of changes
But
never in the love of Father Above
I
thank our Heavenly Father for you
For
being my earthy father
There's
no one else that'll do
But
you, my dear and beloved father
So
on this special day
