journey to a distant land we first met

fresh girls, a bright future to pursue

did I realise, God's plans for us
The
moment we first became friends
Life
so beautiful, exciting and sure
God's
love knit us close together
Two
hopeful girls, sharing our joys...
Our
pains...hopes...fears...our secret dreams
As
seasons go by...
Two
determined ladies, venturing into the world
Setting
out to find the dreams of our hearts
Each
going different directions
Time
has a way of slipping by
Life
of changes, trials and challenges...
Thorns
which came as realisation to me
That
God is the dream my heart is seeking

As
I reflect upon my times of need
I
thank God for your prayers and peace
I
praise God for your new found happiness
Love
of which you well deserve
Friends
flourish in abundance
Like
flowers God sprinkles along our pavement
But
one that stays forever in my heart
Is
the fragrant Jasmine, so dear and fine
Now
when I think of my Christian walk
I
think of how you had a part to play
Though
we live our separate lives
We'll
always remain in God's pavement of flowers
