Hmm. What more can I say about myself on the first try? I'm an Atlantan, born and raised. I'm involved in Scouting: Boy Scouts and Venturing. I'm Venturing Chairperson for the East Atlanta Boy Scouts; advisor for a High Adventure Venturing Crew; and a trainer. My family has Native American roots as well as African American. I'm about 5'6/5'7, long dark brown hair with gray added by my brats - uh, children over the years (each strand probably has a story to it!), light brown eyes, and medium brown skin.
My daughter and I are members of the Order of the Eastern Star and my son is a member of the Masons of Federated Free and Accepted Masons, Inc. I share many hobbies with my children primarily because it brings us together more. I collect Dream Catchers, Talking Sticks, Mandela shields, old Scouting magazines and books, and Oriental items such as huge wall fans, pots, figurines, chop sticks, hand fans and much more. My Scouting totems are the bear and the owl, and so I have a collection of bears in many forms! Stuffed teddy bears, a few crystal bears, a couple of onyx bears, a Spirit Stone with a bear paw print & another with a medicine bear. My daughter made me a Dream Catcher with Tiger's Eye bear beads. I also collect Medicine Cards and Medicine Wheels.
This site may be under construction for a while so feel free to come back and see any new changes. *waves* As my daugher loves to say: "Safe journey on your path through Life."
