My mom has just been dianosed with terminal lung cancer and is not expected to live very long as the cancer has spread to other vital areas now. a wonderful page...I cried! I was Motherless for all of my childhood years and well into my adult years....my mother didnt die....she left me....all those years without her were so difficult, especially knowing she was there somewhere but just didnt want e....the pain is still with me today....I look back on my life and I see a little lonely girl who felt so unwanted and unloved and I feel so deeply for that little girl I invision...but now I am a very happy, secure woman...a woman who now has her Mother, we recoginciled about 7 years ago...and I couldnt have a better mother than the one I have now...I hold no bitter feelings towards her, I realized she was young and made mistakes....and no matter how much she hurt me then....everytime I hug her now....tho e bad memories melt away.....thank you for this page...you are a very special person!

Thank you for having a page for women or children who have lost their mothers. There isn't very much information out there on the subject, which is very frustrating, but at least it is becoming a lot more let out in the open. It is slowly becoming more alked about. The late Princess Diana certainly let the world know that mothers don't live forever, and that even though a child may be very young when her mother dies, she still grieves in her own way. Children should never be denied the chance to griev , because it can damage them for a long time.
