Woven Stars

I know that man, I saw him in my heart.

He carried a long sword of truth

That tore me apart.

I know that lass, She spoke to the sky.

I saw her in the forest trees

I heard her drifting through the leaves

I know her ways.

She came with the spirit,

He came upon earth

And with the moon's cover

spoke in perfect harmony;

impossible communication

For their love was greater than death.

He took the heartbeat of the dove

and cast it to the wind

She took the light of his eyes

and smiled.

I know that Child

It is freedom

It is a precious gift

from two ancient lovers

that still walk among the stars.

I have a song, can you hear my heart?

I know that thou art listening.

Please know that the love you share

has fulfilled my art

My muse will take this message I know

and cast it at thy feet

like the thousands that have been blest

by the prayers at their behest

like the stars woven with the threads

and welded with the heat of a most beautiful love.
