Reception
The RECEPTION will be held directly after the wedding in the Owen Center lobby. Wedding cake (see below), grooms cake (a variety of cheesecakes) and drinks will be served. The room will be decorated similarily to the theater, with candles, floral and greenery arrangements, and grapes with vines.
The CAKE is being created by the bride's grandmother, Eunice Holder. The four-tiered French vanilla cake with marshmallow icing (with layers both stacked and seperated) will feature silk roses (dark red and gold) and ivy, and the bride and groom have chosen a fairy heart cake topper from Renstore.com.
The TOAST will feature crystal champagne flutes with black stems, filled with sparkling cider. The MUSIC for the entire reception will be from a selection put together by the bride and groom. The bride and groom have also chosen to include the traditional CEREMONIES of the garter toss and the bouquet toss. Afterwards, the guests will be given small silver bells or bags of glittering "fairy dust" (irridescent confetti in heart and star shapes) to toss as the newlyweds make their exit.
