IN HIS UNFAILING LOVE

FOR THE LOVE OF HALEIGH

On September 11th, 2005, Haleigh Poutre was admitted to Baystate Medical
Center in Massachusetts. Suffering a severe blow to the head and numerous
other injuries inflicted by her adoptive mother and stepfather, she was in
seriously critical condition. Her story wasn't a major headline, not really
receiving much national attention other than 'here's another kid in another
abusive situation (of which, if you follow the news, you know there are
many). But the Lord showed it to me and had me remember her.

There was never again a news article about Haleigh on the national news
websites until recently, January 18th, 2006. Even then the headline
was fairly anonymous, calling her "Mass. coma girl", and reported that
Massachusetts highest court pronounced that Haleigh's life support was
to be disconnected, her feeding tube removed.

The Lord had OTHER ideas where Haleigh was concerned.
He had me write the following on His behalf:

Eleven-year old Haleigh Poutre is in need of God's grace and mercy.
Beaten by her stepfather and adoptive mother and in a coma since
September, 2005, she has been diagnosed as being in a 'permanent
vegetative state' and under the guardianship of Mass. state
Department of Social Services. With no really profound reason for not
wanting to keep her alive other than everyone saying she 'has suffered
tremendously and deserves to die with dignity', her case for life or
death was presented this day to the state of Mass. highest court, for
determination of her fate. In what SHOULD have been a plea for her life -
for truly I say unto you she is NOT DYING but is instead ALIVE with help -
what SHOULD have been someone asking for the mercy and justice from those
given power to decide in matters such as these, those put in power to
protect human life and rights - instead seemed a mere formality, a
foregone conclusion, the necessary step that would lead to Haleigh's
death...for today the courts ordered Haleigh's murder over life...by
ordering her life support to be removed.

Her ventilator will be disconnected. Her feeding tube will be removed.

THIS decision, ordered by those put into power representing a country and
a people founded on the Word of Almighty God - where we are guaranteed
(or so we THOUGHT) the right to liberty...the pursuit of happiness...
and....what was that first one? Oh yes, to LIFE?!?! These cases are
considered 'right to die' cases - cases where the patient is supposedly
brain dead and vegetative permanently thus better off not living. How
do they know that she would be better off not living? Have they been in
her situation personally? What about instead considering this the right
to LIFE of human beings? Beings made in the image of Almighty God - formed
and fashioned by His loving hands! Chosen from before the foundations of
the world to walk after His ways! What about the possibility of our great
and awesome Lord and Healer, our Wondrous Divine Physician, stepping in
and HEALING HER!

How anyone could pronounce any living being 'hopeless' when they have
such a loving, wonderful, all-powerful Saviour and Redeemer is beyond
moral and spiritual reason!

Does this story sound familiar to you? Look at Haleigh's photo...then
remember another lovely young woman (yes, a bit older, true) also with
dark brown hair and a great smile. ALSO on life support, also judged
'not fit for life', Terri, too, was in need of mercy from the courts....
and received none. She already HAD God's mercy first, last, and always,
and He never once left her side...not once. And I'm sure you know Terri's
story...this isn't really about Terri only in that yet another wonderful
child of God is being condemned to die. The Lord does, however, want me to
share something about Terri that He truly wants you to know...something that
willhelp you then see young Haleigh and her plight in a different light.
And while the example below IS from the natural, seen and heard with natural
eyes and ears, ask the Lord to open your spiritual eyes and ears of
understanding as you continue to read what He would like for you to see.

Have you read "Terri's Story", by Diana Lynne? The Lord asked me to share
a bit from Chapter 17 in that book....let me set the scene for you.

It was March 18, 2005 - a 'life or death' hopeful but tense day for those
who loved Terri, those who knew and had seen so much evidence of her
living and being truly alive, saw that she wasn't the vegetable portrayed
by many. THIS day, the courts would either rule that Terri could remain
living (as she truly wasn't dying)...or they could rule for the removal
of her feeding tube.

--------------FROM "TERRI'S STORY--------------

('Her family with her, Terri sitting up in a lounge chair, dressed and
reportedly alert, looking well and even laughing as they waited for the
forestalling of the scheduled 1:00 p.m. removal of her feeding tube.
Barbara Wheller, attorney for the family leaned over Terri, to take her
arms and said....)' "Terri, if you could only say, 'I want to live'
this whole thing would be over today." ('Weller reportedly begged her
to try. According to Wheller and one other person, Terri's eyes grew
wide and her expression became serious')

"She (Terri) said, "Ahhhhhh," wrote Weller, "Then, seeming to summon up
all the strength she had, she virtually screamed, 'Waaaaaa...'. She
yelled so loudly that (3 people outside Terri's room) could clearly hear
her. Anguish then seeped into Terri's face, and she began to cry. They
blotted her tears, and the attorney vowed to tell the world Terri Schiavo
had tried to say, "I want to live.""

Is Holy Spirit confirming this in your spirit? You don't even have to
have tremendous discernment to literally feel this truth deep down in
your gut. The supposed 'vegetable' who didn't deserve to be kept alive
because she 'wasn't aware of pain or life or death or day or night' was
then starved to death...even though THIS 'supposed vegetable' desperately
tried to say, 'LET ME LIVE'...and was condemned to death (ie murdered)
anyway.

THIS DAY...the SAME THING(!!!)...is happening ...the U.S Courts have
ruled that an 11-year-old girl doesn't deserve to be alive any more.

Can our God step in? YEA AND AMEN!
WILL HE?

My spiritual sword is drawn and raised as I cry, "DO IT LORD - AVENGE
THIS CHILD, THAT THE WORLD MAY TRULY COME TO KNOW WHAT JUSTICE REALLY
IS AND WHO HOLDS LIFE AND JUSTICE IN HIS HANDS!"

But then the Lord speaks....I answer....
I hear Him....we converse....

'Yes....I know.....she is with You, even in her 'vegetative state'....
You are holding her and loving her and she is NOT alone nor is she
afraid....Yes....I know....her home is in heaven....and that no one
would trade being there with You for one second of one moment for life
on this earth, where we truly do not belong.....'

'O God, I am Your warrior...and I long to see Your Glory....raising her
from her coma, proving the world and those speaking for the enemy and
death wrong. But YOUR GLORY....ah, Your glory...it shall reign supreme...
whether young Haleigh is resurrected in the flesh here on earth or
resurrected in her heavenly body with you in Heaven...it is ALL for Your
glory....and Your will and Your heart are My life, O My King.'

Either way, she lives!
Either way, she has YOU!

I hear You proclaiming, "This is an opportunity for My righteous judgment".

And so I humbly bow at Your feet and ask all saints reading this Truth
to come into agreement for Your perfect will to be accomplished
regarding Your precious daughter Haleigh Poutre....

FOR YOUR GLORY, BELOVED....FOR YOUR GLORY!

The above was spoken by the Lord on January 18th, 2006 at 4:57 a.m. THAT
SAME DAY - at 9:07 p.m. - 16 hours and 10 minutes after the word of
the Lord went forth on Haleigh's behalf, the headlines pronounced:

Comatose Mass. Girl Responds to Stimuli

Haleigh had been laying in that hospital for 4 months and 7 days - not
moving, just laying there. They had labeled her "vegetative"...."brain
dead". "It wasn't even about her living it was about her dying with
dignity" the papers had reported. The state, which has custody, had asked
that Haleigh Poutre's ventilator and feeding tube be withdrawn after
doctors said she was in an irreversible vegetative state.

AND THEN....GOD!!!

Haleigh responded to stimuil...ONE DAY AFTER Massachusetts' highest
court ruled the state could take her off life support!!!

"There's a possible change in her condition," Denise Monteiro, a
spokeswoman for the Department of Social Services, said Wednesday.
"She's having some responses."

Beyond any shadow of a doubt the ONLY PERSON who could have done this, to
breathe life into this precious child once more is GOD!!! Because HE is
the giver of life. HE decides when we live or when we come home to Him.
HIS HAND moved in Haleigh's life...all glory, honor and praise be unto
He who sitteth upon the Throne!

On January 19th, 2006 at 1:16 p.m. 01-19-2006, the newspaper headline read:

Girl Beaten Into Coma Breathing on Her Own

"SPRINGFIELD, Mass. - A severely beaten and comatose 11-year-old girl is
now breathing on her own, officials said Thursday, two days after
Massachusetts' highest court ruled the state had the authority to remove
her from life support."

HALLELUJAH!!!

On Friday January 20th, 2006, the headline read:

Haleigh Moves Her Hand

Haleigh moved her hand. The Lord enabled her to move her hand, and He
enabled her to respond to stimuli. The doctors performed tests, because
remember, when the court ordered her to be removed from life support that
means no heroic measures, no rehabilitating, no nothing - just let her lay
there and starve - it WAS the court order. But NOW they had to get the
latest information regarding Haleigh's miraculous improvements back to the
courts, even to FEED her much less continue to further her recovery.
And in the meantime, God was doing all the work - it was God working in
Haleigh's body. No man can take credit for this one - this is GOD'S for
HIS GLORY.

There was no word about Haleigh for several days...there was however NO
DOUBT IN MY SPIRIT that God was going to do this thing in Haleigh's life...
so that when word was finally released that Haleigh could move her eyes
in the direction of where sounds were coming from, and after the Governor
of Massachusetts got involved and ordered an independent inquiry as to
Haleigh's treatment, and after Haleigh was examined by two pediatric
neurologists - the Department of Social Services spokeswoman said:

"The second opinion that we received gave us so many areas to hope for
that we thought we had to get her into a state-of-the-art rehabilitation
center so we can start working and find out what potential this girl has"

The article proclaimed that Haleigh continues to show signs of improvement
and was thus moved to the Franciscan Hospital for Children in Boston.

The BEST quote yet, spoken forth re: Haleigh:

"There is so much absolute hope now....she is full of miracles and she's a fighter".

The Lord had me write to the rehabilitation facility and inquiring about
our sending cards of prayer and hope, balloons, stuffed animals - to
brighten her room and encourage her, make her feel loved as the Lord
completes her healing. She is 'owned' by the Department of Social
Services (Boston) and doesn't seem that she has any family to care.
It is the Lord's heart that WE become her family and that WE love her on
His behalf...she has been through SO MUCH...and the Lord has given me
His heart for Haleigh, I am now unable to imagine or stand the thought
of this girl waking up to NOBODY who cares, who loves her, or to a stark
hospital room...

The Franciscan Hospital wrote back and said "NO GIFTS- NO BALLOONS -
PLEASE RESPECT HER PRIVACY". It was quite harsh-sounding actually. I
was led to try again...this time I again let them know that we DO respect
Haleigh; that there are those who love and care for her and want to
encourage her...and asked if we could at least send greeting cards - to
which I received no response. The Rehab center web site DOES have an
online email link for people to send messages to patients - from
"relatives and friends"- that they deliver to patients within 24 hours.
But GOD is orchestrating this entire situation - we must all be patient
and obedient and WAIT ON HIM release His favor and to open those doors.
I know what the Lord is asking of us all toward Haleigh....but if her
caretakers don't feel that we qualify as 'friends' I don't believe she'd
receive our messages.

THEREFORE BRETHREN WAIT ON THE LORD!
PRAY and ASK for His favor in this, for His glory!

The Lord also had me write to one of the reporters from the Mass.
paper and asked him to get me in touch with the Mass. Dept of Social
Services rep (because they "own" Haleigh) to see if they will permit us
to show Haleigh some love.

Personally if the Lord made a way I'd like to GO to Haleigh - sit beside
her bedside, read to her, sing to her, share His love and anointing in
person. In the eyes of the world I am quite 'poor' - and so this would
be God's doing (making a way, opening those doors, releasing favor with
those in charge of Haleigh)....in the meantime, let us agree together in
one accord, that the Lord WILL send someone to Haleigh....that He will
touch a case worker's heart or perhaps a rehab employee's heart...
SOMEONE to share His love with her and encourage her....

I will post more as the Lord reveals, as He opens those doors, with more
GOOD REPORTS for surely Haleigh shall be made new, she shall dance before
Him, laughing and in much joy as a little girl should, as He removes all
the physical wounds and all of the emotional wounds. Surely she shall
have a loving family to call her own, to cherish and nurture her, raising
her up in the things of God, and surely Haleigh shall live her life for
His glory, for He HAS been with her through it all, since the beginning
and even until now...she now knows Him in her spirit and is loved by Him
the Lover of her soul.

Live Haleigh. I decree life. I decree complete and absolute restoration!

Our God truly is an awesome God....

The Rehabilitation Center where Haleigh is 'living' emailed me today
(January 30th, 2006) and said that THEY WILL ALLOW US TO SEND
HER GREETING CARDS VIA MAIL to encourage her in the Lord,
speaking life and love into her life.

Remember, Haleigh has NO FAMILY. She is technically "owned" by the
Dept of Social Services of the State of Massachusetts. The Lord is
asking US to love her and be her family, and to encourage her.
As the Lord continues to improve her physically and then emotionally,
imagine the moment when she is fully awake and aware and alert, and
can look around her strange hospital room and see (I'm praying and
believing for) 100's of cards!

Could you please take a minute to send her a card? Send her a
card a week...send her many cards per week...let's show her that she
IS loved with the love of Christ Jesus...even for those who have
little financial resources (according to the world) can go to the dollar-
type stores and get a card for a buck (some even have two for a dollar!).
Add a stamp and you will be the Lord's hands and voice into her life...
and in that He has been with her since the beginning, it will be a
wonderful confirmation when she wakes up that God loves her and that
there are people in the world who know how to be kind and love her also.

PLEASE ASK OTHERS TO SEND HER CARDS TOO - Pass this word along to
your churches, youth groups, prayer groups, etc.

HALEIGH is receiving physical, occupational and speech therapy
DAILY!!! The article reported that "her continued responsiveness
is heartening". ALL glory, honor and praise be unto Jesus. HALLELUJAH!

It seems that as things progress with God's little Miss Haleigh,
the news will release things - after the fact.

"The condition of Haleigh has improved to the point where late
last month she was able to signal answers to simple "yes" and "no"
questions. Department of Social Services affirmed that Haleigh
signaled affirmatively on January 26th when asked if her name was
Haleigh and if her gender was a girl.

"That's pretty high level of cognitive function," they stated.

Father, continue to bless and resurrect this child...continue
to keep everyone amazed...for You O God are great and worthy to be
praised...I continue to plead the blood over Haleigh...protect her
on all sides Father...LIVE HALEIGH....utter your first word...and
then another...and another. FOR YOUR GLORY Adonai Elohim! In Jesus'
matchless name, amen and amen!!!
(Oh and Father, give her a kiss for me....)

NEW U P D A T E APRIL 2ND, 2006:

God's little miracle girl Miss Haleigh Poutre is now
eating, breathing and communicating on her own!

This day (April 2nd, 2006) at 12:00 pm over 800 balloons
will be released in her honor. The event is a fundraiser
being sponsored by family friend John J. Gamelli, who
organized the event to raise money for Haleigh and her two siblings.

Thank you for your continued support, prayers and interest.
The Lord has asked everyone to continue to support her with
greeting cards, which, due to God's amazing hand in her life
and as He completes her restoration (proclaiming in the Name
of Jesus), she can now thoroughly enjoy!

Blessings to all who have stayed committed to this special
child of the Lord!
