DECEPTION
September 30th, 2005
I greet you in the matchless name of Jesus, King of Kings and Lord of Lords.
As we draw nearer and nearer to the end of the age, to the Glorious Appearing of Jesus
in power, majesty, authority and might, His words regarding this time re: the hardening
of people's hearts is becoming strikingly apparent. Not only are people falling
away, but their hearts are not only deceived but hardened to the true message of His Word.
Yes, this is the time of the harvest - many who have never heard about Jesus will
now hear and come running, and will remain steadfast until His return. What I
am commanded to reveal here is there are those who are deceived. Those who have
sat in pews Sunday after Sunday but Monday through Saturday live how they want
where they want, when they want, with who....it is all about THEM and they have
yet to surrender to His crucifixion in their lives...His grand and glorious plan
for their lives. He is speaking as never before, crying out "Won't you come...I
love you...I am waiting for you...won't you let me show you who I AM." And they
spit in His face and say, "Ummm...ok...thanks but no thanks. I'm going to do it
my way." Foolish pride and arrogance" saith the Lord Most High. How can you possibly
imagine that YOUR way of doing HIS walk for your life is better than HIS WAY for YOU?
In Song of Solomon 2:10, the Lord says, "Rise up, my love, my fair one, and come away."
In Song of Solomon 2:13, "Arise, my love, my fair one, and come away." This is THE
time for intimacy with Him. Without knowing HIM you have no hope, no future in
eternity. For Jesus Himself proclaimed that they would come to Him in those days
saying, "But Lord, we did this...and that..and this...in Your name" and Jesus
turns away and says, "DEPART FROM ME - I NEVER KNEW YOU". Oh, he who has ears let
him hear what the Spirit of the Lord is crying out to you in this hour. There is
a precious woman of God, wife of the founder of the ministry I attend. She has
allowed Jesus to crucify her over and over and over, and she hears mightly the Word of
the Lord. One month ago the Lord spoke through her at their Tuesday night
"Meeting Place" - a time when people from over 40 different churches/denominations
come together corporately to worship Jesus - EVERY TUESDAY night for 7 years. And
the Lord spoke through her so beautifully and lovingly, issuing an invitation to
come away with Him. And what was the result? Less than a handful answered His
invitation. And the Lord WEPT - I embraced Him as He wept and cried in my ear, asking,
"How else could I have said it? O I cannot imagine a more heart-felt invitation
to them...O how I love them....why won't they answer..." and my Spirit-man arose
in anger as Holy Spirit then said, "You see Rhonda? They are unmovable in their
own pride - they do not think they are the ones being called...they think they have
it all figured out. Their hearts grow harder each time they refuse His loving
invitation to come...to surrender...to know Him intimately."
The Bible proclaims, "And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth
after me, is not worthy of me." (Matthew 10:38). In Matthew 16:24:
"Then
said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself,
and take up his cross, and follow me." Deny himself. Meaning you cannot do ANYTHING
your own way. Because when you have denied your self, there IS no "MY" way. When
you surrender ALL of your life to Jesus Christ it is about HIS way. This isn't
a salvation message...salvation is step 1. This is the walk - the Christian walk
and what He expects of us. Mark 8:34 says, "And when he had called the people unto
him with his disciples also, he said unto them, Whosoever will come after me, let him
deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me." Mark 10:21:"Then Jesus beholding
him loved him, and said unto him, One thing thou lackest: go thy way, sell whatsoever
thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come,
take up the cross, and follow me." Luke 9:23:And he said to them all, If any
man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me.
The Word of the Lord re: your pride...lay that down. Nail it to
the cross. The Bible says it like this: Psalm 10:4: "The wicked, through the pride
of his countenance, will not seek after God: God is not in all his thoughts."
Psalm 59:12: "For the sin of their mouth and the words of their lips let them even
be taken in their pride: and for cursing and lying which they speak."
Proverbs 11:2: "When pride cometh, then cometh shame: but with the lowly is wisdom."
Proverbs 16:18: "Pride goeth before destruction, and an haughty spirit before a fall.
Isaiah 25:11: "And he shall spread forth his hands in the midst of them, as he that
swimmeth spreadeth forth his hands to swim: and he shall bring down their pride
together with the spoils of their hands." 1 John 2:16: "For all that is in the
world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not
of the Father, but is of the world." Romans 12:1: "I beseech you therefore,
brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice,
holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service."
One person said to me that they were content to read their bible a
few times each day and to do their best to be a good person. Do you know that
we are called to be KINGS AND PRIESTS? That God has called us forth to be warriors,
to be His army? The Bible asks us to TAKE THE KINGDOM BY FORCE. He is not calling
us to some la-de-dah pie in the sky by and by dum-de-dum weak attitude. We are
to be sold-out believers. We are to HUNGER for Him. To be passionate for Him.
He proclaims in Psalm 63:1 "O God, You are my God; early will I seek You; my soul
thirsts for You; my flesh longs for You in a dry and thirsty land where there is no
water." TRUE PRIESTS ESTEEM GOD'S HOLINESS. 1 Samuel 2:35-36: "Then I will raise up
for Myself a faithful priest who shall do according to what is in My heart and in My mind.
I will build him a sure house, and he shall walk before My anointed forever. And it shall
come to pass that everyone who is left in your house will come and bow down to him for a
piece of silver and a morsel of bread, and say, ‘Please, put me in one of the priestly
positions, that I may eat a piece of bread’” As our anointed brother Todd Bentley
puts it, "A faithful priest in God’s eyes is a servant who will do what is in HIS (God's)
heart and mind. Now I want to ask a question. How can we do what’s in God’s heart and mind,
only doing those things that we see the Father doing, if we don’t take the time to see
what the Father’s doing? (Jn. 5:19). We have to seek the heart and mind of God. A
faithful priest isn’t concerned about his own agendas and how he looks in public; it’s
about who he is in his heart. (And)we can’t move into the kingly anointing
without the prophetic anointing, and we can’t move into the prophetic anointing
without the priestly anointing.".

THE KINGLY ANOINTING RELEASES A CORPORATE ANOINTING
Christians prove that they have the heart of a faithful priest when they esteem the
holiness of God and when they’re only concerned with doing God’s will. Then they’ll have
what it takes to carry the kingly anointing. But what is the kingly anointing? The kingly
anointing involves a wide scope of spiritual authority because it releases a corporate
anointing. Here’s an example of what this means. The kingly anointing is in operation when
we see one thousand demon possessed people coming to the altar and when we pray in the
name of Jesus, one thousand people go through mass deliverance.
Ministering in a crusade setting is a different dimension than praying for someone
in a counseling room setting, one on one. There is an anointing for the counseling
setting and that’s good, but there’s an anointing called the kingly anointing that God wants
to impart so that the masses are touched simultaneously. For instance there might be 60,000
people at one of our crusades and in Jesus name I’ll command the blind to see. Then I’ll command
the deaf to hear. And many, simultaneously, will see and hear instantly! When this happens, it’s
the corporate anointing. We need more of this!
I believe God wants to release a whole new focus and new level of authority in
the body of Christ to advance His kingdom. I see this new level in our ministry here at
Fresh Fire. We’re being led to pray for thousands at one time in our crusades, commanding
different diseases to leave. And many people are healed and delivered all at once! I don’t
have four hours to cast out a devil. There has to be a level of authority and power in the
church where we can see a whole stadium healed at one time! We need this level of anointing! When
I go into the nations I can’t pray for the sick in a healing line one by one. It doesn’t work
because there are so many needy people. In the future we might have thousands of people who are
crippled at our crusades. We won’t be able to lay hands on them all individually.
When masses of people are healed and delivered, then the kingly anointing is
demonstrating God’s power and this will transform cities, regions and nations. Having said that,
I believe there is an increase in the level of anointing and authority that is coming upon leaders
and ministries to bring breakthroughs in cities, regions and nations! Some leaders and
ministries will affect cities because their present level of authority is for cities. Others
will affect regions and others will affect nations. There are different levels of authority.
We need to prepare our hearts to receive a whole lot more from God!
EXAMINING OUR HEARTS
God is looking for those whose hearts are completely sold out to him; those who He can
strongly support (2 Chron. 16:9) like He supported King David and Samuel. God said that King David
was a man after His own heart who would do His will (Acts 13:22) and the Bible records that Samuel
also was a man after God’s own heart and would do his will. In order for God to strongly support
us, we must be radically sold out to him like King David and Samuel.
When it’s all said and done, what does our week look like? I felt the Lord say
that He wants to bring us into a whole new level of intimacy, through soaking and seeking,
because that’s how we’re going to go deeper. So let’s take time to be with the Lord and not
book our week up so there’s no room for God in our lives.
Are we walking in humility and devotion to the Lord? If so, then we’re in a
safe place spiritually and when the Lion roars and pronounces judgment against our enemies we
won’t be swept into it. (We spoke about this last week.) Rather, we’ll see bondages break and
freedom come to our sons and daughters.
Do we sense our hearts have become a little callused and cold? Let’s be like
Samuel and minister to the Lord and ask Him to renew our passion for Him. If you want to come
back and buy gold refined in the fire, I want you to do that today (Rev. 3:14-22). Your
relationship with God might need to be made right. God may be challenging you to begin to
confront an issue.
PRAYER
Heavenly Father, we come to you today mindful that we need to surrender our lives to you
completely. We want you to take us on the journey that You have tailor-made for us so that
we can rise up into our kingly anointing. Please help us not to run away or refuse to allow
You to have Your way with us. We want to say Yes” to being led by You into the wilderness and the
difficult places so that adversity can have its perfect work in our lives. God, please help
us to contend for our God-ordained destinies by overcoming the enemy.
Father, please help us to be faithful concerning our prayer life and taking time
to be with you. We want to walk in humility with devoted hearts and we know that as we experience
a deepening relationship with you, our hearts won’t be callused or cold! We want to be diligent
and faithful concerning your kingdom when no one is watching us.
We want the kind of heart that pleases you; a heart that’s only concerned with what’s
on your heart and mind, God. Please anoint us with increased authority in our lives and the
excitement of the kingly oil and the kingly dominion, the increase of Your government, Your
rule and reign.
We need a whole new level of authority that will impact the masses. Father, please
release Your heart and Your strategy so that cities, regions and nations hear the good news of
our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Thank you, God. Amen.

My heart BREAKS for you. I weep for you as did the prophet Jeremiah who proclaimed,
"But if ye will not hear it, my soul shall weep in secret places for your pride; and mine eye
shall weep sore, and run down with tears, because the LORD's flock is carried away captive."
(Jeremiah 13:17). But I am called to minister to HIS needs, to care for HIS heart... HIS
purposes...and so I speak forth in power and might as demanded of the Most High God:
REPENT O Ye Wicked Generation. (See also His PROPHETIC WORD from September 22, 2005).

P.S. Word to S.G.: Jesus invited you to get to know Him in a more intimate way;
your response was basically, "No thanks - I've got it figured out - I'll do it my way".
The Lord says that you are in deception. Colossians 3:1 says, "If ye then be risen with
Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God". Repent
and seek out deliverance for past evils/affiliations. He also says that as you keep looking backward
and embracing the past, this is also a stumbling block for you. He says the following:
Philippians 3:13: "Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing
I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which
are before,". And, Luke 9:62: "And Jesus said unto him, No man, having put his hand
to the plough, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God." The same word
from the Contemporary English Version: "Jesus answered, "Anyone who starts plowing and keeps
looking back isn't worth a thing to God's kingdom!
Father, I pray for the powers of darkness to be broken from S.G.'s life right now
in the matchless name of Jesus Christ. I pray for her GODLY spiritual ears to be opened, for her
GODLY spiritual eyes to now see that which is of the Kingdom of Heaven and not the kingdom of evil.
Loose her satan from all satanic hold. Father, open a door for emotional and spiritual cleansing
and healing. Impart unto her a spiritual hunger like nothing she's ever experienced or
imagined. Show her signs and wonders from Heaven, give her angelic visitations, dreams
and visions. NOT counterfeit but the real heavenly signs and things of Your Glory. I ask all
this for Your Glory Lord and in the precious name of the true Lord Jesus Christ.
