Oh yeah
In France a skinny man
Died of a big disease with a little name
By chance his girlfriend came across a needle
And soon she did the same
At home there are seventeen-year-old boys
And their idea of fun
Is being in a gang called The Disciples
High on crack, totin a machine gun
Time Times
Hurricane Annie ripped the ceiling off a church
And killed everyone inside
U turn on the telly and every other story
Is tellin U somebody died
Sister killed her baby cuz she could afford 2 feed it
And we're sending people 2 the moon
In September my cousin tried reefer 4 the very first time
Now he's doing horse, it's June
Times Times
It's silly, no?
When a rocket ship explodes
And everybody still wants 2 fly
Some say a man ain't happy unless a man
truly dies
Oh why
Time Time
Baby make a speech, Star Wars fly
Neighbors just shine it on
But if a night falls and a bomb falls
Will anybody see the dawn
Time Times
Is it silly, no?
When a rocket blows
And everybody still wants 2 fly
Some say a man ain't happy truly
Until a man truly dies
Oh why, oh why
Sign Of the Times
Time Time
Sign Of the Times mess with your mind
Hurry before its 2 late
Lets fall in love, get married, have a baby
Well call him Nate... if its a boy
Time Times

You won't often see the Lord allowing me to use secular song lyrics to get one of His messages across.
In this case, however, the song is not only appropriate, but also highly prophetic, especially considering
when it was written. Almost 20 years later, the song still has significance.
"Are we living in the end times? Are these the last days? What's going on with all the tornadoes,
hurricanes, earthquakes? What are we supposed to think?"
"Why are you speaking of the Last Days and End Times using a Jewish motif?"
You will often find in scriptures the expression, "Who has ears to hear, let him hear what the Spirit saith...".
We are living in an hour when we have to be in tune to the move of God's Holy Spirit. We need to pray for
spiritual understanding and discernment of the times and seasons - using the same expression the newscasters
are using for these amazing and cataclysmic events -
"like never before".
We all know about the beginning of time. Genesis 1:1 tells us, "In the beginning God created the heavens
and the earth." Also, "And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide
the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years:".
We know about the end of times: Job 26:10: "He hath compassed the waters with bounds, until the day
and night come to an end.". Revelation 10:6: And by him that liveth for ever and ever, who created
heaven, and the things that therein are, and the earth, and the things that therein are, and the sea,
and the things which are therein, that there should be time no longer:".
We know about the fullness of time from Ephesians 1:10: "That in the dispensation of the fullness
of times he might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and
which are on earth; even in him:". We even know about Daniel's reckoning of time, and times, and
half times (see Daniel 7:25; 12:7).
God teaches us in His word about the duration of the world, the measures of time, appointed seasons,
moments, heavenly bodies appointed as a means for computing time, eras of time, propetic years
of time, shortness of man's portion of time, that time should be redeemed, that time should be spent
in fear of God. We know that all events are predetermined by God, and that all of God's purposes
are fulfilled in due time.
But what about the last days (kairos eschatos, chronos eschatos)? Last "times"? End of days?
End times? In the King James version of the Bible, this phrase occurs in:
1 Peter 1:5
"Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in
the last time.".
1 Peter 1:20
"Who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last
times for you,".
1 John 2:18
"Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there
many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time.".
Jude 1:18
"How that they told you there should be mockers in the last time, who should walk after their own
ungodly lusts.".
The Revised Version (American & British) has, in 1 Peter 1:20, "at the end of the times";
1 John 2:18, "the last hour", which most closely adheres to the original Greek. It is closely allied
to that of "the last day", which also has its root in the Old Testament concept of "the end of days".
In the Old Testament it designates that which the present course of the world is to issue in (NOT the
closing of history). (NOTE: THIS particular word translation; for the last days and days of great
tribulation and the great and terrible day of the Lord are all Old Testament terms for the last days,
the tribulation, the judgment and Great White Throne Judgment). In the New Testament the phrase
"last times" more often DOES mark the concluding section of the present world period. In three of the
New Testament passages, the "last times" is presented as having arrived - that the period extending
from the appearance of the resurrection of Jesus until His Second Coming is the close of the present
age. Once this happened - the cross, His death and resurrection - the last days began.
Some might then say, "That's been 2000 years of "last days". What's all the fuss about?" While Jesus'
resurrection was the BEGINNING OF THE END - we are actually now closer than ever before to His
return once again. These are the days leading up to the return of Jesus Christ for the last and final time,
to fulfill all that has been written, all that has been ordained concerning the Kingdom of Almighty God.
To get even more precise, in scriptural terms we are ACTUALLY living in the THIRD DAY.
"Huh?"
1 Peter 3:8 proclaims, "But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with
the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.". Which means 1 A.D. through
the year 1001 was one day (the first day) since Christ was crucified. The year 1001 through December
31st, 2001, the 2nd day. January 1st, 2002 began the 3rd day since Christ's death, burial, and glorious
resurrection. As a type and shadow, on the 3rd day Jesus arose. In the timing of all things, Jesus is
to return to earth the second time during the 3rd day.
This is therefore that day, friends!
Before His actual arrival, the Bible also clearly shares that the coming of Jesus Christ is preceded by
certain signs heralding its approach. In the Old Testament, Judaism had worked out the doctrine of
"the woes of the Messiah" (chebhele ha-mashiach), the calamities and afflictions attendant upon
the close of the present age the birth pains of the latter. This, then, transfers to the New Testament
coming of Christ. The phrase occurs in Matthew 24:8 and Mark 13:8; the idea, in Romans 8:22; and
references of, in 1 Corinthians 7:26; 1 Thessalonians 3:3,5. Besides these general woes and in
accordance with Jewish doctrine, the appearance of the antichrist precedes the final crisis. Without Jewish
precident, the New Testament links with His Coming (as preparation to it) the outpouring of Holy Spirit,
the destruction of Jerusalem and the temple, the conversion of Israel and the preaching of the gospel
to all nations.
The "woes" most closely resembling those of Jewish teaching are:
Wars, earthquakes and famines, "the beginning of trevail"
the Great Tribulation
commotions among the heavenly bodies (Rev. 6:2-17)
Let's clarify the order:
1. Wars, rumors of wars, earthquakes in divers places, fires, tornadoes, plagues, famine, murders,
lawlessness, moral decay.
2. Introduction of antichrist to world scene. He will come initially as a "peacemaker".
3. Seven-year peace treaty with Israel (peace in the Middle East)
4. 7-year tribulation - during which the abomination of desolation occurs, false prophets
and christs emerge, commotions in the heavens, the sign of the Son of Man.
5. Christ's return
Numbers 4 and 5 above signify "the end" itself (the end of the world as we know it but rejoice,
the beginning of God's rule and reign on earth!!!) Number 3 happens at the beginning (ushers in) the
7-year tribulation. Number 2 could happen at any moment. We are experiencing the beginnings of
Number 1. Right now we are in the last days of the last days - you will (especially) see more and more
countries who never allowed the preaching of the gospel before in the history of their existence now,
for the first time, allowing His messengers in with His words of truth and light. We are daily seeing
the "signs" we were to look for. Jesus Himself prophesied that the preaching of the gospel to all the
nations not only must happen before the end but that it definitely precedes the end: "Then shall
the end come". (Matthew 24:14)
Prior to His Second Coming, the conversion of Israel was also to precede this event. Jesus, Peter and
Paul spoke of Israel's conversion in Matthew 23:39, Luke 13:35, Acts 1:6,7; Acts 3:19,21 - where the
arrival of "seasons of refreshing" and "the times of restoration of all things" must occur, along with
Christ's acceptance in Israel. This is said to depend upon the repentance, conversion and blotting out
of Israel's sins. Romans 11 sets for the answer to Israels unbelief:
---that there is even now among Israel an election according to grace;
---that in the future there will be a comprehensive conversion of Israel(Romans 11:5, 25-32).
This time that we are living in now - the period of time that began with the death and resurrection of
Jesus is called the dispensation of grace (John 1:17). It is important to note that this time before
the end, alloted by our loving Father God, is to allow for the salvation of souls, and is a period of
time during which we are tested in regard to our obedience to specific revelations of God's will.
It is the time when we meet God face to face, are redeemed, and then called into intimate
fellowship with Him, learning His heart, His ways, His timings, His will, His wisdom. We are edified,
molded and fashioned. We are crucified and must willingly die to self. For only then shall we walk
in His ways, to be His light in the darkness of all that is soon to be released upon the earth.
You must please also grasp what God is saying about what is to come. The 7-year tribulation as
prophesied in the Book of Revelation is on the horizon. The culmination will be the great battle at
Armageddon (Rev. 16:16), the Lord returning from heaven with His holy army, to conquer the
antichrist and his evil hordes, to rule and reign for 1000 years on earth (called His millennial reign).
What the Lord wants you to understand is that, while things as we know them WILL come to an end,
it is, instead, a new beginning. This is the Kingdom coming. It IS COMING. We are closer than ever
to that great and terrible day of the Lord.
That is why, friends, this time of intimacy, fellowship, submission, obedience, surrender is
CRUCIAL. We ARE in the last days - Jesus is coming SOON. But before He does there will
be much travail, trials, tribulation, hardship, judgment. Not only does God LOVE YOU SO
MUCH that He wants to allow this time of preparation so YOU PERSONALLY will make it to
the end, He will also, then, be able to entrust you with carrying out His plans and purposes here
on earth - YOU will be His hands, feet, eyes, mouth reaching out to a hurting and dying world.
The Lord has not allowed me to forget about the Israel connection - why has the Lord chosen this
particular background image for the study on the end times? Because He wants America to come to
grips with the Biblical truth that all things God does pertain to Israel. Israel is at the center
of God's plan for mankind.
Since time began, Israel was God's primary focus. All He created, did, didn't do, spoke, allowed,
ordained, prophesied - it was all for Israel. Whenever the Bible mentions any other nation, they
were only included in the dialogue in relation to their interaction with Israel. All the nations
of the earth are used by God to bless, chastise, or judge His chosen people, the Jews. An no
matter how small or how big and mighty those nations were (are), they existed (exist) or perished
(perish) in relation to how they treated (treat) Israel. In fact, Israel has survived, endured,
out-lasted MANY other nations. She will forever remain, for she is God's sovereign, chosen
nation.
Yes, when Israel rejected Jesus as Son of God and Messiah, gentiles were then wooed by Holy Spirit,
became believers, were 'grafted in', and yes, we are His loves, His Church, His Body, His Bride.
But His reason for elevating the United States of America as the world's greatest, most powerful
nation was so she would align herself with God's chosen Jewish people and nation, to fight for
and with them, to support and to pray for them.
God turned His back on Israel when she rejected His beloved Son. But He has never rejected them.
He never will. His Word is truth and He spoke covenant promises with Israel. Our founding fathers
even knew this - our nation was founded on God, the Bible, and His perfect will. Our founding
fathers - American presidents and leaders - always knew our place in respect to God's purpose
and will for Israel and acted accordingly. We have always been Israel's defense, Israel's friend.
America should therefore consider it a humble honor to fulfill her role in standing with God's
Israel. It is our calling, our purpose for being, and our privilege.
For as long as I have known God, He has always pointed out news events on television, asking
me to jot down the type of event and the date of its occurrence. He has had us living in this same
apartment for 16 years; every time He has me look through a stack of papers on a bookshelf
or clean out a dresser drawer, I'll find events and dates jotted on envelopes, scraps, books, etc.
I am diligently trying to find them all so the record that I am ordained to keep will be as
accurate as possible. (As I grew in the Lord I became wiser and heard more clearly - today's
records are very thorough and extremely diligently kept according to His perfect will!).
He has especially had me focusing on the news for the last several months (you will note more
current recorded events on His list below).
There isn't one headline posted for entertainment value....the Lord chose each one for a reason....
This is because we have turned a corner in God's prophetic timetable. These are indeed the days
of the end - we are close to His return. It is therefore our responsibility to discern events
so we can recognize what God is doing, and when, how and where He's doing or allowing it to
be done. His "whys" may be none of our business (although sometimes He will reveal them).
We are to continue to watch and wait....continue to praise Him and love Him and worship Him
through it all, TRUSTING HIM to hide you under the shadow of His wing, for His love and His
judgment go hand in hand. Both define Him as Almighty God, loving Father.
Are you noticing any trends thus far? What is Holy Spirit pointing out to you? I'll share a few:
lawlessness is on the rise, especially among the young/teens (who murder, rape, vandalize)(NOTE:
THIS IS A SPIRIT AND PRAYER WARRIORS NEED TO TAKE AUTHORITY OVER THIS
THING THAT IS TRYING TO STEAL GOD'S JACOB GENERATION); sodomy is
happening in the church, both with priests raping children and gays in the pulpits (and
churches even SEMI-thinking it's 'ok' (?!); America led Israel (pushed?) into giving up land
ORDAINED BY GOD TO BE THEIRS; food is killing people (mad cow, pestisides, etc);
there are plagues (Bird Flu, SARS, West Nile, AIDS); wars and rumors of wars;
people
are getting sicker; the planet seems to be dying; strange things are occuring in the
heavenlies; television is full of necromancy, sex, perversion, divorce, gossip, homosexuality;
the number one movie at the 11/18 - 11/20 box office was about WITCHCRAFT; not to mention
earthquakes, tornadoes, volcanoes, tsunamis, floods, fires....; Americans are still murdering
1000's of babies ON PURPOSES....need I continue?
How many Biblical abominations can you count?
Oh, HE WHO HAS EARS TO HEAR....what are you hearing?
If you stand upon the Rock that is Christ Jesus, you need fear NONE OF IT personally. You are
His and you are marked and He has written your name on His hand...His name is on your forehead.
You SHOULD, however, in Godly, reverant fear of Almighty God, fear what this nation (and whichever
nation you are reading this from) is allowing. We wrestle not with flesh or with blood, but with
powers and principalities. It's time to PRAY. It's time to DECREE. It's time for the BREAKER
ANOINTING. It's time to bring it all down for the Glory of the Kingdom of God. And you must
PRAY WITH WISDOM - do not pray without being led by Holy Spirit in that which He would have you
pray. You need discernment to know if something is of God, for His purposes, or if something
is of the devil.
Father, my prayer is thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Send down Your righteous
judgment...with Your mighty right hand.
Trust in the Lord with all thine heart, beloved....
